Interesting. I just checked and 11/30/97 was the last performance on the Dance tour. That goes a long way in explaining why Lindsey is so keyed up--running around the stage and just grabbing her.

Also, Will would have been conceived by this point.

As for Stevie, I have no idea whether she's pissed or just "not right now"--the quality is pretty bad. But she definitely was caught off guard in a big way. I think this must have been a confusing time, to say the least.

Ok so I get what a "shipper" is, but since I wasn't on this board when the term was coined, I cannot for the life of me figure out where it comes from. How on earth did y'all come up with the word "shipper"??

It's always great see these videos. I think I'm neutral on the shipper thing (I don't know, I don't want to know, I have no idea), but I respect a lot both of them, and to see them in harmony is fantastic.

I really do wish the video would surface of him finishing the end of SS for her because she was too upset to do it herself. I think it was the show right before this one. Love it.

Stevie was deliberately away from him on the stage. For that entire tour, she, John and Christine were all in the same section for this moment. He would hug or pull on John and he'd do something to Christine (sometimes he would touch her head with his head) and then he would kiss Stevie. He kissed her every night (that I saw anyway) and she was in that little triangle between John and Christine every night.

But this particular night she moved away from him, way onto the other side of the stage when she knew it was time for him to kiss her. I don't know if she thought Lindsey wouldn't follow her or not -- but she should know enough to know he would.

I would say about his kissing her every night, I don't guess she cared one way or another, but physically it was like her neck hurt. She would hunch her shoulders up to her neck, almost in a protective manner. I got the impression she had a sore neck or something and he aggravated it when he kissed her. He sometimes would bury his head in her neck and nuzzle her.

You can see him do this on the Today show tape too, just for a second. Michele

Oh, I see what you mean. I don't know if he was going for it or not or if it's just easier for him to do her neck when he has both hands on a guitar. When he has a free hand to guide things, maybe the neck is not his first choice.

There's no video, only audio. Well, I've heard there's video but it's not surfaced that I know of. Wish it would. I've read reviews from ppl that were there, though.
