Perez Hilton has interview with Stevie on site next week
 

Wednesday afternoon, we had the rare pleasure to be invited to the home of one of our idols, the legendary Stephanie Lynn Nicks!!!!

Stevie had Perez over to chat about her new album, In Your Dreams, which is in stores next week, and to talk music.

We had an enchanting time with the chanteuse and can't wait to share our interview with her next week!!!

Ugh Perez, I'm soo over him. I was obsessed with his site a couple of years ago.

Perez is lame, but it'll be nice to read (or watch) a fun interview with Stevie. It was so sweet to see her giggling with Sheryl on Oprah, and most interviewers just ask her the same boring questions again and again. Hopefully this will be something a bit different.

Say what you will about Perez, but some time ago I heard his site receives something like 4 million unique hits per day- that kind of exposure is better than most prime time television shows. I personally enjoy PH's site, but I admit it was better when he was less polite (and he actually wrote the content himself).

He seems to be a fan though so I can't hate him so much.
I dislike HUGELY his favoritism with certain artists (not including Stevie).Since his site is so supposedly popular and influential there are many artists that could do with the spotlight shining on them but he won't go for it unless they are absolutely up his a$$ far enough.

I bet he asked to try one some of her saris/scarves...she probably gave him one too. Nothing wrong with that, I'd do the same. I love me some Perez...he's a little bit mean (or a lot bit mean) if he doesn't like someone but when he loves someone (like our favorite gal) then he really really loves them. I think Perez would be a lot of fun to hang out with...hummm, wonder how I could make that happen? Maybe he'd let me hold that scarf.

I know. I stopped reading his site a while ago because all he does is steal info from other sites. At least this is something original from him. I hope he doesn't ask a bunch of idiotic questions.

I actually think that he'll ask new and refreshing questions. Yes, maybe a lot - or most - of them will have an idiotic twist, but he's a diehard fan, right? He KNOWS all of the answers to the same old boring questions. Look at it this way - would any of US ask Stevie the same questions she's been asked for years, a la Oprah (shame on O, by the way)? Nope. Because we're diehard, and so is he. We'll get a lot of refreshing stuff, I'm sure. And it's about bloody time.

I'd like Perez to ask Stevie questions about the music, the clothes, the videos that never were, the albums that might have been - the music that is still to come. I'd like to know more about the fate of unreleased tracks, the remastering of solo albums, future box sets. I'd like him to ask about the inspiration for the lyrics of Ghosts Are Gone, For What It's Worth, Everybody Loves You. I'd like him to ask about the DVD that was talked about for In Your Dreams.

I'm dreading hearing the same old stuff rehashed - Rumours, Lindsey, Fleetwood Mac, cocaine or Klonopin. No thanks!

YOU made some great points there. I think it's incredibly likely that he could touch on any one (or, God willing, all???) of those topics. We all know that he's been swooning over her, like we have been, for years. I think he's going to dig deep and deliver us some tasty treats! This could be a dream of an interview!

I hate when people that I respect, associate with this guy.

Love him or hate him, alot of people go to his site for news, gossip, etc. Exposure is exposure and the more people she can reach w/this new cd the better. I DO love it that his an actual fan !! I' ll bet he was blown away to be in her house, so cool ! Hopefully he'll ask some interesting questions.

aside from being an arse liking, bitching wannabe, what is Perez Hilton famous for? :shrug:. I hate the way he swings from having his head so far up some celebrities ass, to slagging them off. He did it with Tori Amos a few years back. Someone asked her about Gaga in an interview and she gave her opinion (although she didn't say anything horrible or rude), and he went off on one about her. A month or so earlier, he was bumming her new album. IDIOT.

I'm certain Stevie is terrified of him and this visit is about not wanting coke lines drawn
on her face. He was a Michael Jackson fan too, wasn't he? While Jackson lay dying,
Perez described his cardiac arrest as a stunt and that he was either lying or making
himself sick.

A few gay teens off themselves and suddenly he's Mother Teresa. Leopard, spots, etc.

I really do not know why anyone would pander to the whims and tastes of the Perez Hiltons of the world. A complete waste of time, space and bandwidth. I mean what a vapid, egomaniacal fool has to offer Stevie, I'll never know.

Of course its a smart move. Its going to reach the people who unlike you haven't moved on. You can't consider it a bad move just because YOU don't like him personally.

Relax, Stevie was just out back changing the oil in her Ford Escort & didn't have time to wash up. It's a small price to pay, for someone who loves driving as much as she does.

I'm more intrigued by the jump ropes she has hanging up behind her. I hear from reliable sources that, when she's not touring, she likes to have Sharon, Lori, and John McVie over to skip rope and chant Miss Mary Mack songs.
