Doesn't belong on Rumours - Silver Springs is kinda the only answer here, right? I first heard the remastered Rumours on CD, with it at track 7. I assumed it was always on there. Works for me.

Much better performed live - I wouldn't say MUCH better, but I really enjoy live versions of YMLF

Should "Silver Springs" been on the Rumours album? - Not sure. Arguably worked out better that it wasn't.

Overall least favorite - Don't Stop, but it's still good.

Sick to death of - Go Your Own Way. Lindsey's overkill performances live have made me very sick of it.

Much better peformed live - Gold Dust Woman is so epic when you're there in person! It's also my mom's favorite Stevie song.

Overall least favorite - Gosh... NGBA vs. IDWTK vs. Don't Stop/Songbird??? ... I D W T K the answer! BUT I think I have to go with Don't Stop and blaming Bill Clinton.

Doesn't belong on Rumours - Oh Daddy, I havent liked this song since the first time I ever heard the opening chord.

Should "Silver Springs" been on the Rumours album? This one is a toughy, I always assumed SS would have replaced Oh Daddy, in which case i would be all for it! But I recently discovered it would have been in the place of IDWK, (I always just assumed it was a Lindsey song) in light of this, I'm glad they saved SS for the Dance.

The forgotten about little song that could - I don't know that I'd call Never Going Back Again forgotten (is anything on Rumours forgotten?), but it doesn't get as much attention as it deserves, imo. Definitely my favorite LB song on the album.

Everybody else likes em, but not me - Dreams. It's not even that I'm tired of it--I've always considered it really bland. Like, it always takes me a minute to remember the tune. Even after hearing it 1000 times. And GYOW has never done much for me--I find the chorus really grating, but enjoy the verses and guitar bits.

Much better peformed live - Don't Stop. It's really only the studio version that sends me batty; I still kind of like live recordings.

Should "Silver Springs" been on the Rumours album? No. It's probably my favorite FM song of all time and infinitely better than IDWK, but how could I want to lose what was possibly the greatest moment in FM history? I speak, of course, of the Dance: it wouldn't have had anything like the impact it had, had it been on Rumours.

Everybody else likes em, but not me - You Make Loving Fun. I like it more now than I used to, but I think Chris has put out far better songs than this one. An for a long time I could not make out the part where sings the words "I never did" before "believe" - granted, this is a production issue, & not Chris's fault.

Should "Silver Springs" been on the Rumours album? Hypothetically speaking, yes. But in reality, no, I think that the fact that it got cut Rumours added something to it's allure and everything panned out okay in the end..

Overall least favorite - Oh Daddy by far.

I see Rumours as an fun and uptempo album about the turmoil of relationships and the angst and heartbreak of those relationships.

Sick to death of - "Don't Stop ", Hasn't aged well at all. Has the feel of jingle.

Doesn't belong on Rumours - I Don't Want to Know. Merseybeat sounds out of place. Stevie had better songs in the can.

Much better performed live - The Chain (Was such a great opener during Mirage; Stevie and Lindsey's heightened viocals upping the romantic tension.

Should "Silver Springs" been on the Rumours album? No, because it was the tentpole that supported The Dance, and Stevie's riveting coda was the emotional core.

Even though I'm not really. It just plays at the store I work at every day but I'm too busy to hear it. Don't Stop plays every day. And Everywhere, but that's Tango. Also at my friends' favourite restaurant/hangout Dreams plays everytime we are there, but that's one of the best pop songs of the 70s.

Sick to death of - Easy choice. "Don't Stop" - Christine's piano chops can't save this song from being the blandest of bland all these years later.

The forgotten about little song that could - "Second Hand News" - this song is groovy (my Marsha Brady moment:lol:) and features nice BN harmonies. I love that FM have revived this song in concert, but I'm surprised its generally ignored on classic rock stations.

Doesn't belong on Rumours - This ones hard. My 1st instinct is to toss away "Oh Daddy", but ultimately I believe all these songs belong on Rumours.

Everybody else likes em, but not me - "Songbird" or "Oh Daddy" are just Meh to me, don't find myself seeking them out ever. I only play them when I listen to Rumours as a whole, which is a rare occasion these days.

Much better peformed live - "Gold Dust Woman" is more muscular in concert, but I still enjoy the trippy and restrained studio version.

Should "Silver Springs" been on the Rumours album? Hindsight is 20/20 and with "The Dance" squarely in view - My answer is NO. The Rumours version was a popular enough b-side in its day, and received steady FM radio airplay 77' through mid 80's - so it was far from obscure. This song was more emotionally stunning when it was resurrected for The Dance, and had far more reaching resonance. I also prefer the 97' arrangement over 77's.

Overall least favorite - "Oh Daddy"!
