so I've been thinking.....our girl looks so fab that....
She needs to be a spokesperson for some kind of skincare line! Like an ad for Olay or something! She's gorgeous and her skin is amazing! Tell'em to cut the check Stevie!!!!!!!! Lol!!!
Agree or no!? |
I'd be mortified to see Stevie in a "I look so young and fabulous all because of this overly expensive skin cream!" commercial.

Great banner Artemis!!!

Stevie's skin does look great though- don't know if I see her doing a skincare ad, though it would be kind of cool. Any positive exposure is good for her at this point! |
I don't think it would be a bad idea! Thee woman is gorgeous! She might as well get paid for it lol!
|
She could do it.......She does look great. My Dad can't believe she's in her 60's:)

I am not sure how the average women explains this one to her husband. "So, honey, I splurged a little bit on some nice face cream. And when I say splurged I mean it's more than our mortgage payment:eek:" |

Stevie's skin isn't just due to her staying out of light, using fancy creams, and going to dermatologists... she's has some snipping done here and there over the years. She's been ultra conservative about what she's had done, and has been very discreet about it too. But she's at the very minimum had an eye lift, which is an outpatient procedure. I think it's unfair of her to say she's had nothing done... it puts this pressure on people to think EVERYONE should naturally look like that when they're in their mid 60s. |
Stevie's diet
I have always been really curious about Stevie's diet/nutrition regime. I know she mentioned the Atkins Diet numerous times around The Dance. I wonder if she still follows those same principles since Atkins has kind of become a fad now. I read on the Nicks Fix that she likes Mexican food, but does not eat it a lot. I bet she has to be very strict with her diet being that she has a petite bones structure and is older now. I could see her being out there enough to get into juice fasts and holistic nutrition.
When she goes to a restaurant what does she order? Just wondering if someone could shed a little more light onto this topic. |

Yes, I totally agree with you. She has obviously had pulls and snips done. A 62-year-old woman without wrinkles? It doesn't exist and it's not realistic. But, she has been wise with what she has done and I think it looks pretty tasteful. I was watching The Judd's show last night on the OWN network and Naomi is around Stevie's age. The work Naomi has had done looks a lot more alienish than Stevie's. But, Naomi did make it a point to say that even though it kills her feet and knees, "Wearing high heels on stage is my job!":p |
I wonder what beauty products she uses? I think I read here somewhere she like Bath & Body Works.

What was that magnet plate that Stevie says she uses sometimes?
That was funny, when we all started reading about it, after she mentioned it. Wonder if she's ever considered using a shake weight. She'd hurt herself for sure. Michele |

Stevie seems like one of the least athletic people I can imagine. Her idea of a workout would be twirling with the occasional use of that weird vibrating plate thing.Ya, ya I know she has had ballerina training, but I doubt it was ever too strenuous. She would definitely get flustered by the shake weight and drop it on her foot. |

I would love to know this too! I am nine years younger than Stevie and boy, it's tough to keep weight off once you're past 50 years old unless you LOVE to eat salads and egg whites at every meal.:( |
Agree Stevie has had some discreet work done. She's had her nose trimmed down ever so slightly (the tip). And recall that it was a plastic surgeon that she'd gone to about having (the outside) her nose done who told her about the giant hole she'd burned on the INSIDE.
She wasn't always so smart about the sun... I still have a FM poster from the Rumours era where she is tanned as brown as a coconut. (The one where she's in the white gauzy dress). Mama got smarter as she got older. She does however seem to have a bit of a thinning hair thing going on in the front.... |

she better not be up in BATH AND BODY w/ that bullsh*t cucumber melon lmao! |

But her skin is amazing, "massaging" la MEr alone does not achieve her results. I'm actually surprised she still uses that concocted petroleum based cult crap...sorry, but there is a plethora of more researched dermaceutical face products available at her disposal. All LAMer is doing, is keeping her moist. The dewy is all about good circulation and regular facials. |
I think she said she tried botox once, and hated what it did to her face. She likes her face (as she should) and claims to not really want to change it.

Eye lifts basically remove excess skin along the lids. My "Mother in law" had an eye lift done a while back, and she doesn't even wear makeup, and you cannot tell she ever had surgery. You couldn't tell she had surgery 2 weeks after her operation. It's a pretty seemless procedure. It basically just makes your eyes and lids look like they way they're supposed to... minus excess, sagging skin. |
