The Many Loves Of Stevie Nicks
Do we have a detailed list of Stevie's boyfriends (or girlfriends ;) ) since after the breakup with Lindsey? Of course we know about the famous ones - Don, Joe, etc. but what about the others?
Apologies if this has been discussed before. |
She was seeing Stan Lynch for awhile, back when he was still drumming for the Heartbreakers.
|
I thought the newest rumour was that she's dating Robert Plant? The frustrating thing about Stevie is that her romantic life is pretty well documented up till 1989, where she had a fling with Rupert Hine (I think?) and then that pretty much drops off the radar.
|
Okay. I'm sooo sorry if this has been asked before and if it has nothing to do with this thread.
But... Who is this "Carlos" guy I've seen mentioned in some other threads? Again, sorry(:. Like I said, I'm new here(; |
Carlos Rios, maybe? Her rhythm guitar player? I haven't heard anything about them being in a relationship.
Also, almost EVERY lesbian Stevie fan I know has tried to convince me that Stevie and Sharon were a "thing" back in the day when they were roommates. I think it's just wishful thinking on their part, though...as there really hasn't been any evidence. |

P.S. Is there and acual evidence supporting the claim of Stevie being Bisexual? I feel like she's not.. But what do I know rightt??
|
Cool thread.
Am I the only one who dry heaved when I heard Stevie say that Joe Walsh is the love of her life/great love??? I can understand a gnarly dude like Jimmy Iovine...I guess even Waddy...but Joe Walsh? Stevie....baby..... |

come to think of it, who HAS she dated (if anyone) since the early 90's? You would think we would know something, this being the internet age and all. Doesn't Sharon live with her? Hmmm....is Sharon married? Me senses something may be up with her and Stevie :)

I don't think Sharon has lived with Stevie for quite some years now, and I saw an interview once with her (it might be on Nicks Fix?) where she talked about a long-term guy in her (Sharon's) life. As for their being lovers? I have fun sometimes watching Sharon watching Stevie when they're sharing a mic, too! But noooooo, I don't think so somehow.:lol::lol: |

Sharon and Stevie? No. Sharon has been involved with someone for over a decade. A man. And Stevie is not bi.

Where did you hear she's dating John Irving? According to his wiki he's been married since 1987, didn't mention anything about divorce.

Ha! good one! I hear she's dating Sean Connery actually.

I think Stevie may be more than happy to be alone with her journals, pillows, blankets, candles and her dog. She has had more than her fair share of lovers and bad relationships. A women of her age and experience, just might prefer to be alone (Greta). I mean she's a beautiful lady, if she wanted a relationship, she'd have one. Maybe she does have a friend or two with benefits, she gets it when she wants it.

back in the 70's it was just sex .. no labels , no hassle , just what ever |
So, if we're going for the list thing - I'm going by memory here, I'm sure I'm getting some of this wrong, but off the top of my head...
Unnamed
Who am I missing? Plus I'm not positive about all those dates. And when they ask her about the men in her life... and they DO ask her... |
I want Stevie to find someone to be in a serious relationship. It seems like she has been searching for this her whole life if you "read between the lines". She's beautiful, famous and rich, finding a partner is probably difficult. If she finds it,I hope she keeps it secret(although I'm dying to know)!
|
Also....
Also Paul Fiskin, who helped get Modern Records and Bella Donna off the ground; a fling with Walter Egan; Curry Grant (a fling...he dated Christine longer I believe); and there's always been a rumour about Tom Petty but neither Stevie nor Tom has admitted it publicly. And I read an interview of Ray Thomas from the Moody Blues who said he'd had a relationship with her.

^I don't think she ever had a relationship with Walter Egan. I think he had the hots for her but she said they were nothing more than friends.
My boss played golf with Norm Van Lier (great basketball player with the Chicago Bulls in the 70's) a few years ago and Norm told my boss that he slept with Stevie a few times in the 70's. I don't think he said they were in a relationship, just had sex a few times. My boss, knowing I was (am) a huge Stevie fan, came into my office the next day to tell me about it. I don't know if I believe it because it just doesn't seem like Stevie had any connections to professional athletes and wouldn't be running in the same circles. But, she's the only one who knows who she slept with (if she can remember). |
i know a girl that INSISTED that stevie is bi. she allegedly knows ppl that knows stevie.......yada, yada, yada. i could care less if she is. i figure, as long as she's "getting it", i dont care how she got off. i think that ppl say she's a lesbian, or bi, because she's a girl's girl. she seems to cherish her relationships w/ her girlfriends and has kept the same circle of girlfriends for YEARS.
**they say the same about Oprah and Gayle. blah! was it ever confirmed that her and waddy were together. smmfh! God i hope not. here's a question...........has any of her love songs ever referenced a woman that she could be romantically involved in? i can't think of anything. |

"It's not easy to be involved with a lady singer who's always gone. Paul is sweet and wonderful and understands as well as anyone. I'm not interested in playing around, but I do get terribly lonely on the road."
People Magazine, 1977 "For whatever reasons ~ which aren't important ~ my relationship with Paul stopped, he is the one man in my life that was truly good. Truly understood. I was in an emotional trauma all through that fifteen months. And he stood by and watched it, and was as much help as he could be. While the rest of the world questioned me constantly, including my very close friends. About everything." High Times, March 1982 |
