Is it best to buy tickets at the Borgata box office Saturday morning in person?

I think if you are close enough, it wouldn't hurt, but if you can bring a phone with internet access or a lap top that might be a good idea also. I once waited at a venue to buy tickets and just as they went on sale, their computer went down!

How did you do?

llb 03-26-2011 09:19 AM

Well, I stayed home and used the computer. I bought a couple, one in sec. 300 Row 15 and one in sec. 400, row 3 (but right side) . May have to relinquish, bring somebody, or trade up later one of those. I usually move up quickly to an empty seat anyway for the show.

I got gold circle tix! But it was after some trial and error. The system is screwed up. When I started, only ***** was popping up, but after a few more attempts, I got the goods.

Yes, Borgata does upgrade you on the night of the show (from one price tier to a higher price tier). But I don't think they do exchanges within the same price tier. I've done this only once. So maybe the best strategy is to buy a cheaper seat now and hope for the best on show night.

paleshadow 03-26-2011 09:41 AM

I also got section 300 row 15, which really are excellent seats to begin with. I had about the same seats last time she was there and got upgraded to 2nd row. If you go to the box office an hour before show time you can ask if they have upgraded seats available.

WelshWitchPMD 03-26-2011 10:28 AM

I pulled up section 200 row 5. I wasn't planning on going but I figured why not. Well, since my name and email address are ten miles long the system timed out. Guess I'm not going. Good luck to the person who got Section 200 row 5 seat 5

steviechaser 03-26-2011 11:10 AM

I pulled up fourth row section 300 about ten minutes after the sale started!! BUT they were supposed to be "saved" in my cart and weren't. I lost them. A few minutes later I pulled up fourth row in sections 200 and 400 and stupidly threw them back. So I have no tickets as of yet. I want my fourth row sec.300 tix back. So if anyone out there has them, hand them over. LOL

nailatixela 03-26-2011 11:28 AM

I'm really happy, I've got the best tickets I've ever got. I've been feeling sick for almost 3 weeks now, and my mom surprised me this morning with 5th row tickets in section 400!! It was a great surprise, the closest I've been was 11th row with Fleetwood Mac. I can't wait!

Is this going to be opening night of the solo shows? Or at least the first night where she might do new songs?

Those are great seats! I think anything in sections 200, 300 and 400 are really good!

Heaven help you if you are in 100 or 500. You may as well be staring at a wall for two hours... because that's what you'll be doing!

The Borgata Events Center is such a small room. I would not be surprised if Saturday night was added.

I don't really remember those sections, but from the seating chart, it looks like you're right! At least if you were in the first couple of rows. I think further back wouldn't be too bad.

StevieRox81 03-26-2011 07:51 PM

Picked up tickets to The Borgata!!! :) SOOO EXCITED! :blob1::blob1::blob1:I really hope Stevie plays some new songs since it's after the album is released. I've never been to The Borgata (or to Atlantic City for that matter)...does anyone have any pics or advice about the venue that has been before? Thanks!:D

demonchaser 04-03-2011 07:18 AM

Does anyone know if the first row of the riser section is elevated enough to see over the people on the floor if they are standing? I am going with someone short and want to make sure they can see.

Thanks

Macfanforever 04-03-2011 11:25 AM

I dont remember how high the risers are.its been years since I've been there.

As long as this is the same venue she always plays at when she goes here, than it isn't. First time I saw her I had left riser section first row. It wasn't risen at all, it was on the ground. The second row there was just one step up. In fact, in front of us was the path where people walk so when people left, they had to walk in front of us (not right in front of us of course) to get out. So that was a bit annoying.

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed to know.

This is the show that I'd be going to if I were going. The DJ on http://www.wzxl.com just talked about the show. Stevie goes on @ 7:30 p.m. & I saw someone mention this before, my Phillies, are playing there @ Citizen's Bank Park, too, so parking & traffic will be dicey. The weather is just dreary (Phillies may get cancelled due to all the rain.). I think Stevie should open with Outside The Rain, like she did the last time that I saw her in Philly. (And yeah, it was raining then, too.) Everyone have fun, be safe & of course, I expect a full report after the show!

Lee :)

I bought one ticket for me, myself and I. My parents don't know if they're going yet they might just wanna wait for PNC bank arts center. Dumb since they're gonna have to drive me down there anyways! But I got section 200 row 12. I think? Or maybe row 13. I forget. Not bad since the sysem froze for me when it was 10:00.

Muahahaha, But I won't say in my seat. I shall go suck up to the security again. Where's SaphireSister when ya need her? Miss flirty got me front row in August ;)

Dreams22 04-15-2011 04:54 PM

Just got my ticket today for the Borgata show! I'm kicking myself for waiting till now to get it, but didn't have the money earlier. I manged to get Section C, row S in the riser section...looks like it's dead center so that's a plus :)

Macfanforever 04-15-2011 05:02 PM

Wow .theres still some tickets left.

Borgata Ticket Sales

is it me or ???

The show at Borgata ( aside from Webster Hall) is the 'kick off' for the tour promoting the new album ..... Borgata holds maybe 4,000 seats ??... still not sold out ??? what's going on ??

GavinBrown 04-25-2011 04:17 PM

These casino shows are NOT kickoffs for her solo tour...they are one off appearances to make some moolah before she kicks off her tour in July I would bet....Webster Hall may be a VERY special show, and insight into more of what we will see on her summer tour.

She did perform in AC last summer and her tickets aren't that reasonable. I'm sure Borgata will fill seats with their players.
Webster Hall is sold out. That seems to be the kick off for her promotion. I would call this a tour. It may just be branched out over a period of time.

Macfanforever 04-25-2011 04:55 PM

I noticed that StubHub has loads of tickets for the Borgata show.Thats if people want to pay a king's ransom for them.

SandyMac 04-25-2011 09:03 PM

What are the chances of those primo seats by the brokers going to be sold back to Borgata to resell at normal prices? Or the closer you get to the date of the show, doesn't the broker lower the prices at all?

Just thinking it is better to sell the seats than none at all.

Macfanforever 04-25-2011 09:22 PM

As I received my Borgata tickets weeks ago .As I was checked my credit card transactions.I notice there was a transaction from Comcast tx on my statement.I said what in the hell is that from.Comcast is my cable tv provider.I never pay my cable bill with my credit card.As I found out .The Borgata uses Comcast tickets .which I did not know that. Also I did not know that Comcast is in the ticket biz.I was wondering why I got better seats this time around then before when she came for the CV tour.

Dreams22 04-26-2011 05:35 AM

I got my tickets the other week and got the $75 ones in the center section of the risers around row S I think. I didn't see her with Rod Stewart (kinda kicking myself for it) and wanted to wait for Atlantic City, but now that I got them, I'm thinking I should've just saved my money for when she tours this summer to a venue other than a casino. I've been a Stevie fan for a few years now and have seen her with The Mac 3 times and as a solo artist once (in Atlantic City on the "This is Not a Tour" Tour), so I guess I'm making up for lost time. Excited though if she comes around to Jersey, MD or PA and plays an outdoor venue!

StandbackStevie 04-26-2011 06:07 AM

I would be surprised she will do sheds this summer she might do a few if that but if there is a casino in the area she would probably do that instead. I don't mind going to the casinos for a show I love Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods MGM Grand Casino here in CT and those places she will more likely play maybe one other place outside of the casino would be The Oakdale Thearte in Wallingford. But those would be my 3 venues she would be playing this summer. She loved the Foxwoods MGM Grand Thearte last Aug. when she played here it was first time for her playing there she loved the venue awesome show she put on too as always.

Good Borgata Tix For Sale by owner

If someone needs a seat or two to Stevie's May 6 Show at The Borgata in Atlantic City, I have one in Section 400, Row 3, Seat 16 and one in Section 300, Row 15, Seat 3. Both excellent seats, and face value. Let me know. Thanks.

Macfanforever 05-03-2011 07:42 AM

I want to bump this thread because I dont want to start another one. Please update for fridays show.

blemelin 05-03-2011 07:51 AM

Is this show canceled as well?

Does anyone know? We were going to drive down, but now I'm not sure we should.

gypsyrhiannon 05-03-2011 09:16 AM

I just hope we hear something soon. I was supposed to fly out today to go to Webster Hall and AC. I paid $200 to change my flight to Thursday, so I'm really hoping we'll hear before then. My big fear is that she'll cancel AC as well, but not until I'm already out there, have missed two days of work, and paid a total of $500 for a plane ticket with no concert on the other end lol. At least if I find out now I can use the flight credit for a tour this summer!
