What we (( DO ))want Stevie to say in concert.
1. I'd like to take this time to officially announce my retirement from Fleetwood Mac.............peace bitches! Now let's rock!
2. My assistant Karen has eloped with Les Dudek, if you're interested in the job please apply at my official website, The Ledge....uh, I meant Rockalittle.com. 3. I'd like to announce the retirement of songs that I just CANNOT sing anymore: Landslide, Stand Back..... :sorry: All in good fun, and with love! Awwwwww.... |
I'd like to take a moment in this next set and do ..... songs I have never performed before
|
If you wanna hear me perform any Fleetwood Mac songs you're gonna have to come and see us when we tour in 2012. We'll be touring for a year and will concentrate heavily on many European countries. We'll play multiple dates and play in cities we've never played before. We're even going back to Japan and we're going to donate one million dollars a week to relief efforts over there.
Alas, tonight I will be performing my new album in its entirety as well as songs from my past albums I've never performed before. This is gonna be a 3 hour show with a 20 minute break in the middle so you'll have time to go to the bathroom, smoke another joint and get another beer, or two. Ok, let's get this party started!!! |
"This next song is from an album I did in 1989 called The Other Side of the Mirror. It's called 'Alice'."
|
"This next song is an old favourite of mine from the Wild Heart album, Sable on Blonde"
Then I'd be happy. She could even sing that song about the monkies if she sang that song. |
"Ladies and gentlemen, on Keyboards, Mr. Ethan Kinkle!"
I mean..... just sayin'! :) |
Ladies and gentlemen...... SISTERS OF THE MOON.
|
"Working with Rod made me want to dig out my old songs too, so we're still doing the hits, but we're also doing a bunch of songs that were just buried on the albums. This next song is called "Nightbird" from "The Wild Heart"...."

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome a very old friend of mine, CHRISTINE MCVIE!
|
I will not be playing any songs from the new album because... there is no new album... WB has decided it would be best to fold the best songs from my album with the most commercial songs from Lindsey's album for a new Fleetwood Mac album...as God intended. :blob1:

"I'd like to dedicate this next song to a very special young lady named Lindsay that came into my life just a few short months ago. Since that time she has become very near and dear to my heart and she's hear with us in the audience tonight so baby girl, this one's for you!" HAEWAFY.... |
"This next song is a song we tried to do oh, I don't know, about a hundred years ago and it didn't quite work out but since I love it so much we've decided to give it another shot. It's my favorite song and it's called I Can't Wait. "

"Next, I'd like to do a very special new song called Soldier's Angel...and please welcome my dear, close friend - Mr. Lindsey Buckingham!"

I cry sometimes...and I dont believe in mistakes...
...only lessons learned...It hurt like the demons of he'll with my addictions, cruelty about my weight, my changing, aging voice...Fleetwood Mac was almost unbearable at times...I want you to know that I am afraid and lonley...a lot...and I tour constantly for MASS adoration...to fill a big void in my life, in my heart, and in my bed...So, to all of you that loved me...even in my darkest of hours...the criticism from the critics...the press...my peers...and from myself...just disappears when I do a show...when I shake your hand during edge...when we meet face to face and its like we're old friends...when you like my songs...which is a healing process to get it all out...and into a poem...and get your song to you...and its our song because we both had the same experience...and it also heals you as well because you totally identify with it...and know that...hey, the same thing happed to Stevie...and we get through it.
I'm in my 60s...and I promise to stay with you always...if not in a show because I don't know what will happen to me or you...I will stay with you through the same heartbeat that brought us together...songs, music...and mutual admiration. Thank you...thank you...and you guys are my real true "love affair". I love you... and I thank you for loving me. Now... 3 songs in acoustic guitar only...magic. just me and the girls and Waddy. I Sing For The Things Silver Springs Affairs Of The Heart And then 2 revamped Rock Out songs...that you haven't heard before...snicker All The Kings Horses Julia...gone metal... And I will close with this... this is what you've always been to me...and I pray that I've always been for you... Livin in a sanctuary...it was mine alone... My story... My strong hold through the wind and the rain...we have ridden... Do you care... Do I still have your love... It was always there... |

I want Stevie to say, Here's a song I've always wanted to perform on tour, so tonight ladies & gentlemen here it is... Nightbird! She could and should easily retire How Still My Love in favor of this gem-which incidentally was a top 40 hit ever so briefly in 1984. |
