I'm having trouble with "Illume" and "Thrown Down", and the mix of "Miranda" with just Stevie's vocals (they're just her backing vocals). Mediafire has started stalling for me today, I guess. I'll try those songs tomorrow.

Ooh, does the other mix of Illume dispense with LB's annoying Zelda Rubinstein vocals?

Listening to "Illume" right now... I hear some different guitars!

I only hear Stevie's vocals, with many effects on them.

"I saw history going down..." Is that LB being Zelda? It's on here, but very different sounding. His other backing vocals aren't on here.

Ooh!!!!! Sounds like some DIFFERENT Stevie vocals near the end! Or maybe it's because they're not buried in the mix!!!

lol Zelda Rubinstein is the actress who played the psychic in Poltergeist. So, yes - that's the part I'm referring to. And it ruins the entire song for me.

I really like this "Illume" better than the album mix! I hope it works tomorrow!!!!!!

Are these "Actual" alternate remixes or the "fan remixed" ones that someone made from the DVD-Audio version of the album by using the various channels and remixing them? Because those don't count as "alternate" they are just bastardized versions of originals.

I listened to the Running Thru The Garden's and they are all center channel mixes, not alternates. Though I haven't listened to the others, I'd suspect they too are center channel mixes.

That is what I thought. So basically these are just like the Peacekeeper alternate someone made way back in 2003 that was a rip of the DVD Audio that LEdgies marketed as "alternate" mixes.

So everyone beware. These are NOT alternate mixes, remixes, or any thing of the sort. These are just fan-made remixes that were bastardized from the DVD-Audio. You can hear the same things by playing your DVD-Audio and disconnecting various speakers.

That's all they are...

Mike did you ever come up with the Illume/Thrown Down outtakes/alternates? Anybody have these?

there are no alternates/outtakes. All of the above files are FAKE alternates someone made by screwing around with their DVD audio of Say You Will (playable on any DVD player)

Fake is o.k.. I just like hearing different versions rather than the same ones over and over.

Me too - the Running Through the Garden channel 'mixes' are lots of fun, you know... if you like those garden songs. :laugh:

Those guys were bitching so much and throwing such a drama fit, I thought I'd just let it die. Someone sent me the CD in 2003, and I thought to share. I didn't know it would send people into such violent coniption fits, frothing at the mouth, spittle flying everywhere.

I can post them still, if you'd like, this weekend.
