In other words, like most of her videos :). I just love how in so many of them you go into her crystal ball, or to the other side of the mirror with her to "Stevie World" :D.

And I just have to say "HAH!" to those who felt Secret Love wasn't really the single! :p

If FM77 is to be believed there is also a video of "Cheaper than Free".It could be that Dave is planning on directing numerous videos which would be great.I still think that the title track will be the single that appears just before the album's release..still more than 3 months away.I'm fine with "Secret Love " as a single though.I like it alot.

I wonder when this video will be released. I would assume on Feb 8 with the single, which is way soon!

They can actually film and edit a video in a matter of days. I don't know if it will be in time for Feb 8th, but it probably won't be too long afterward.

So I guess maybe the "Secret Love" video plus whatever other singles they decide on, will become videos for the whole movie/documentary? Interesting. Just my speculation.

Yeah, not like "Talk To Me", released in mid-October 1985 as a single, and the video comes out at the end of December 1985, after the song had already hit Top 5! :laugh:

I can't even describe how excited I am for a video and a movie. A movie! What a great thing for Stevie at this time in her life/career.

She's really going all out for this album. Someone said it earlier, but it really is an amazing time to be a Stevie fan. I think this record is going to be incredible!

Also, it looks like those worrying about Stevie and "the mirror" being the album cover can relax, because it is the OFFICIAL single cover.

Oh, totally! It was a testament to Stevie's incredible vocal on "Talk To Me" that made it such a hit in height of the Video Age ~ without a video!

I'm so excited by the positive response to "Secret Love"! A LOT of my Facebook peeps listened to "Secret Love" through the link to YouTube and really loved it. Now, I put up the Amazon link.

For those of you who don't know, that picture of Dave in Stevie's hat was taken on the balcony of her Santa Monica condo. I was in LA this weekend, so I drove to Santa Monica the minute I saw that picture and scoped it out. No one came out on the balcony again during the 20 minutes that I was there, but Dave did affirm that they'd be shooting at an inside location and I have a really good feeling that they did all of this in the condo. Crazy!

That hat actually suits him in a stange way... but knowing it's Stevie's hat, I find that photo hilarious!

So if this was taken earlier in the day today, and they are facing due west, is the sun normally at that time of day so far towards the west? The sun looks like its on his back, or would you say it's more to his right side, or to the south? Almost seems like this photo may have been taken in the late day, early evening.

Location aside, am I the only one who is a bit concerned by the, um, low budget DIY nature of this video project? Okay, I can accept Dave Stewart may have a personally vested interest in working on the video, but shouldn't they be on a soundstage in Burbank or something? Why on earth are they shooting a video inside of her condo? Is she going to be standing at her kitchen counter stabbing an onion with a Ginsu knife when she mouths the words "...my secret love secretly died?" There should be dry ice. Industrial fans blowing around yards of chiffon. And more treadmills, puhlease! Hopefully they are going to shoot in other locations, and I don't mean the condo complex's pool and bocce court!

Where is this video going to played? I mean, what outlet does she have? They are playing it safe. Why make a million dollar video if your not sure people will pick it up.

She has a chance at being played on one of the VH1 channels. But mostly I suspect this is being made for YouTube. Still, considering the incredibly elaborate videos she has made in the past, why sully her legacy with something cheesy? This isn't a rap video featuring acres of marble, bottles of Kristal, hot tubs, ocean view balconies, etc. This is supposed to be a surreal dream-like accompaniment to a very dreamy, atmostpheric song. It would be cool if it took on the surreal vibe of the single cover artwork, but I'm not sure if that can be accomplished within the confines of Stevie's modernist aerie.

Hilarious! She could have cut the budget even more if she had called Lindsey, told him to throw down those decorative pears and bring his camcorder on over.

You don't even know for sure what they are doing or planning, yet. And they made Sorceror and Everday on pretty cheap budgets.
