A room with some lace and paper flowers?

So, now I've got you all confused, I want to see how you like to decorate.

I was scrolling through the pictures thread and saw the photos of Bee's amazing bedroom which reminded me that I had some photos and duplicate records to hang so I did and thought it would be cool for everyone to share how they've decorated their bedrooms or favourite rooms.

I don't wanna see y'all's bathrooms and all that jazz unless you've got a picture of Stevie set into the resin on your toilet seat or something equally as cool in there, just the ones you like best or that you've got all your music collection in.

My favourite part (the tank is empty, I'm running it waiting to bung some Danios in)

Loving the Beer Bottle Candle! I have one made from a bottle of Buddha Beer which I love.

My favourite bags. As I had taken down my "extra" copy of Rumours from my wall (only cost 50p and wasn't in the greatest of conditions), I thought that rather than having a mangy copy skanking around in my collection when I have a pristine one, I would frame it. *licks my beloved Buckingham Nicks*

Everyone that knows me knows my love for Stevie, I wear it on my chiffon sleeve when I choose to. I'm 36 and too old to go putting up posters and making Stevie-rooms I think. My house is done in Florida decor and clean and crisp I guess you would say. I have though at times wanted to mount shawls and display tambourines but then my family would think I've really gone overboard lol. So I show off my admiration for Stevie when I do the dress up thing.

I get this completely. I've sometimes wondered when I'll 'grow out' of my Debbie/Blondie decorating but I don't think I will, I think it will evolve. As I get older and move out, I'll probably buy framed prints of professional photographs that match my rooms.

Either that or my whole house will look like my bedroom does now

I recognise that Christine picture disc! Haha!

:xoxo: :xoxo: I'm saving up for a different frame, then it's getting put where Eat To The Beat is now.

I've shown these photos before, but this is my condo in Charlotte, NC. As you can see, there isn't much Mac related on the walls (a couple of framed posters), but if you look closely, there are multiple crystal balls, crescent moons, and even a "blue lamp." So my house was more Mac inspired than it was in your face Mac:

Since my new place in Austin isn't a rental, I haven't bothered to paint. Too much white for my tastes :( :

Thanks! I really love my blue lamp, even though it's quite different from La Nicks'. It still looks like something she'd love, though:

I love the sage with the white trim. My guest bedroom is done in it and the rest of the house except the baths are cream colored, almost a light light peach-ish color. All the tables in the rooms are a Shabby Chic white, by Waverly. The entertainment center in the family room is even white with lighted glass cabinets at both ends, I rarely turn on though. I have light tile floors and mix that up with huge colored area rugs. The bedrooms are light beige carpet though, almost white to me they're so light. I like your style of decor Louie, especially in the old condo you had. So pretty!

I like your rooms ledgies.

Louie you are missing
one particular item that
G-girl and Silver have in
their rooms. A hint...
it's what makes them cool.

Must be the pics of Debbie Harry :)

No brother.

I am loving all of the Debbie Harry pics in your room! I'm so jealous!

Louie - the thing I like most about yor place is the LARGE glass of wine! Excellent.

Seriously though, your place looks great! Mine is almost finished and pics will be up soon.

I love everyone's rooms!

My bedroom is the smallest in the house.. and my possessions/space ratio is shocking  I didn't bother tidying up as that would be an untrue representation of my living space..

My awesome -super-duper-interesting room!

... :(

:p Think it's safe to say you won't find many 17 year old dudes awesome enough to keep a Bagpuss on their shelf. How much guitar do you play, Bee?

Rick, you're 17 too?
I thought I was the baby of the ledge :P

:) There's a couple of 17 year olds here, and some younger.

My cougar <3

is that a "my little pony" collection? if so, i'm going to need a close up

Harry Potter! :blob2:

I'm the like the Ledgie baby. I'm only 15.

You guys could be the new Runaways.

RickRobert has a few guitars too...cool.
BTW, please take better care of them RR.

You bet it is  I'll get them out and take some photos later

Older ladies <3

I take good care of the Les Pauls and the acoustic! The one is missing a string though and I can't buy them around here...

Ha. I was just going to comment on that.

Custom G3 ponies

i love these:thumbsup::nod:, i remember collecting them~ my favorite was moon dancer~

Most people find it hilarious and really weird that I collect them because I am so boyish. I hold onto them because they represent someone from my past who I really miss. As long as I have them, I have her and I have a feeling she feels the same way about her collection and me. That's why I only have 80's ones (aside from the customs obviously) because the newer ones don't mean the same.

that is very sweet:o~ mine were 80's as well & they reminded me of my granny, may she RIP~ she always picked me up one when she was shopping~ she was so cute!!!~

that's the sh*t, right there

Speaking of vintage toys, I had long forgotten about some from the 70's and 80's until I was browsing some womans site talking about her childhood toys growing up. Anyone remember these? lol

I had almost forgotten about this game, Merlin. I remember watching the commercials for it growing up.

http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/...dheld-game.jpg

Too funny.... but I remember it

http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/...edNfab/KFC.jpg

This here I did have... Little People set

http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/...epeopleset.jpg

I could not for the longest time, remember what the hell these little dolls were called until some recent Googling. Seemed all the girls owned one or a few... Sea Wees!

http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/...ab/seawees.jpg

And this was another long forgotten toy that I now remember vividly growing up. The Tree Tots treehouse.

http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/...streehouse.jpg

I rarely go down a toy aisle today so I don't know what is still out these days, but I'm guessing most of this stuff above are toys of yesteryear : /
