AHH just got word from my dad that we're definitely going to the Jets-Pats game on Sunday. Really hoping this will not be a repeat of their last match-up. So excited!

to quote a line from Blazing Saddles: "What in the wide wide world of a sports is a goin on here?" here's whats left after a weekend of upsets:
NFC championship: Packers at Bears AFC championship: Jets at Steelers I sure as hell didn't see this coming, but it sure has been fun! |
It's always a glorious day for me when the Patriots lose.

Ooh I hope my Pittsburgh Steelers win on Sunday. We need another super bowl bad!! I am hoping we are on our way to the stairway to seven. I didnt make that up but I like it!!
|
Just because I haven't been here in forever:
GO COLTS!!! And because we were beat by the damn Jets, I hope they win the Superbowl! |
McDaniels found a job with St. Louis...I just hated that he got sideways with Cutler.... (My son has an autographed Cutler Broncos jersey which is now worthless.)
Did you guys hear about the Jets and the Empire State Bldg? The building was lit in Green & White and their plane got to fly by it. NBC played the audio from the control tower and the plane. It was fun to hear the exchange about letting the pilot fly by. Brian Williams stated that when the Giants win, and the bldg is lit is red & blue, they will have to let that team do a fly by as well. |
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS ! |
|
Gotta stay with my team...
J-E-T-S!! JETS!!! JETS!!! JETS!!!
Hopefully J-E-T-S wont once again mean Just Ended The Season. |
As a Minnesotan, my worst nightmare just came true with the Packers winning. I would rather have a hot lava enema that EVER root for them. GO AFC WHOEVER WINS!

Final: Steelers 24, Jets 19. The Jets gave it their best shot but just came up short.
Your Superbowl 45 matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Green Bay Packers |

Ouch. That was so difficult to watch.
|
Go Steelers!!!
|
This Super Bowl matchup is going to be the opposite of Alien vs. Predator; whoever wins, I win because I like both teams. I prefer the Steelers however, so hopefully Benlisberger can bring ring #7 to the Steel City.
