Not at all..you're right on time to wish Olive a fond farewell.

Why did he/she decide to leave and what does he/she mean by "I'm leaving"? Leaving the Ledge, leaving this world, this year? :confused:

I was presuming that Olive had found a new home amoung Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks fan forums.Certainly not something as final as leaving this world.:distress:

I was wondering a bit about that myself...particularly in light of the fact that some of the most prolific and engaging posters ever have departed with no warning or fanfare at all.

I posted last month in either the Random or Demos thread that I would be taking a break since I was starting a new job and wouldn't have as much time to be on here. I don't think that was narcissistic though since I'm a regular contributor. I just didn't want people to think I disappeared without saying good-bye. Never thought of starting a new thread for it...
I guess we could debate how many posts you have to be at in order to post a fair-well thread in your own honor lol.

Well, I remember in 1995 on the old AOL Stevie Board, I got so pissedoff at the Stevie hatahs, I did a big, dramatic, FOAD farewell thread. Narcissistic much? Totally!!!

Of course, I resisted the urge to look and see if there were any "Don't go, Mike!"s amongst the what I assumed to be many "Good riddance, Ass-hole!"s. :) Yes, a desperate plea for attention from me. I did stay gone from there for two whole years, though.

I have bad feelings about this. I hope this person didn't mean she or he was going to commit suicide. Suicide rates increase at this time of year, don't they? I'm really worried. Look at Olive's sig, too. Please, Olive, if you're still here, explain what you meant. :(
