Okay, so one of things I absolutely love about Stevie is her hair. Who's with me? She always has these gorgeous bangs and I have notice that she always has except maybe one era around 2004.

Can't wait for her new album to be released, we'll have something else to talk about besides her hair, and sneezing during Destiny Rules as I seen on another thread. Lol.

I've always been jealous of Stevie for a couple of reasons.

1. Her relationship with Lindsey before they broke up and when it grew good again (Duh. *luffs Lindsey*)
2. Her amazing voice.
3. Her luscious and absolutely beautiful hair.

I don't think I could stop myself from running my fingers through her hair if I ever met her. It's so inviting. If I ever do meet her I should wear mittens just to preserve her boundaries lol.

I know, if I could have anyone's voice and hair it would be hers hands down. Somehow wish I could clone it onto my head. Is that creepy? I've always wondered though if it is naturally blonde or whattt, and if she still does her own hair before shows.. even though I know she has extensions now to some point, haha

I would like to know what is going on with the picture of her and Dave taken a couple months ago where it seemed she had had a haircut and it was short, but then not long later it was long again. I am sure Stevie has a Stevie Wig that she uses for appearing in public or perhaps a "fall".

I've never been a fan of the bangs. I think she looked great during Landslide on The Dance. I prefer that look.

I've never really been a fan of the Dance hair, for some odd reason. It is just maybe too messy looking and yeahh. Can't really explain that one. :P

YES! The light & wispy bangs totally do her justice. I love how her hair has made her look youthful

OH EXACTLY what I've always thought when I'm watching this video! Actually, when I first heard Stevie in 2007, this was a new performance and my first time hearing Stand Back! :) and omg, how I loved her hair :) Now I have extentions and I have extreamly long hair...like that, or longer :D <3

Anyways, I must admit that I have generally liked Stevie hair, save for the 80's (then again, everyone had horrible hair back then and she looked like she was trying to be Lindsey in his lumberjack phase), the Tusk bun (yeah, that mushroom cloud she had when she did Sara during Tusk doc), and Street Angel (OK, it was just a bad era for her in general, so I'll give her that).

That aside, I always really liked her with her fuzzy Bella Donna look and the cute shaggy do from the White Album era best personally, but she always seemed to look great no matter what

I'm all about the Tusk bun.

And yeah, my favourite Stevie hair is the recent hair. Or her hair from the White album and Rumours era too. Not a big fan of the huge hair in the 80's, but you're right, she looked amazing no matter what. It always seems like people just needed a little more conditioner in the mid 8o's, but maybe that's just how the hair was. I wouldn't know, I was born in '92 Lol

I thinks thats my favorite Stevie "hair" era, too!

White album hair was really cute and natural for sure

I like all the different eras of Stevies hair. Maybe not some of the 80s hair so much but I don't think hers was the worst.

My favorite is anything between 70s and early 80s, that includes the tusk bun :)

But really I love her hair the way it is now though. Long and striaght. That's the way I want my hair to look like, just in my dark brown color, I wouldn't be a good blond.

I would love to get bangs like her, have wanted to forever but im kinda scared as to how they would look on me and if they'd turn out :P But you never know if you're gonna be a good blonde until you try it! I tried it and it was awesome! It was a good blonde and it brightened up my face, Until I tried it I never thought I could pull it off. :p

I always tend to judge people on their hair (don't ask why, it's just the first thing my eyes go to) and Stevie has always had lovely hair.

Well, apart from the MASSIVE SHEEP BLOB OF DEATH ON MY HEAD, look she sported in the 80s.

I even like the Street Angel perm. Sorta. I flip flop on that more than the footwear of the same name.

I'm the same way with the bangs. I want them but I'm scared. The blond thing scares me too :p

I'm in total agreement.
The bangs are heavy and even sometimes a bit severe...the sans-bangs look thins her face and makes her look much younger IMO.

But for real, my favourite hair is 74 through 76 in particular, Rhiannon from the Midnight Special.

I agree with you about the permed hair. Also I had no idea there was an official video for Peacekeeper. I enjoyed this video and like the fact that it was live, not memorex. Good performance too.

I think just the opposite. I think she looks much better with bangs. The sans-bangs look during the SYW tour weighed her face and hair down too much. You couldn't even see her side profile face shots during Live In Boston because of the grown out bangs. I was so glad when she cut bangs again shortly after. But like others have said, some people can pull off bangs better than others. Me, I would never cut short baby doll bangs on me because I just could not wear that hairdo outside this house :laugh: but I love the bangs on Stevie.

Am I the only one that thinks Stevie should hack about 10 inches off of that mane? As someone mentioned previously, Dave Stewart posted a picture a while back where it looked like her hair was much shorter (I think it was just pulled back a bit):

OK, the attachment didn't make it, but I got one very burning question that has absolutely nothing to do with Nicksy's hair: how did Chris get her leg so high? :shrug:

I love her uber long hair and it's part of her image. I think most of us will cry when or if she ever does cut it.

also curls, but done right - not the poodle look.

Can I just quickly mention how much I LOVE the TISL album cover? I think it is just so freaking awesome.

Me too. I think it adds to the mysterious witchy persona, in a way. And with that, you can't mess with perfection! :)

It is amazing. I can't stop thinking about what the next album cover is going to look like, and what the theme is going to be e.t.c

I love that too ... I got my hair trimmed today and almost asked my hairdresser to do my hair like that, but I chickened out at the last moment. Next time!

Me too! I'm really looking forward to seeing what direction Stewart takes her in visually, between the album cover, the documentary and the videos.

The first one is from 2005, from Today Show. There was great performance of Stand Back.

1. Late Tusk tour, when the poodle & bun were shortened & flattened against the scalp

2. 1980 Circus mag photo of whole band

3. Late Wild Heart tour, when the poodle was slicked up with gel & then puffed out even more

4. 1978 tour, when the hair sat so well under the top hat
