Fro or No?

The question of the ages... do you prefer Lindsey with the fro and the beard or with the short curls and no beard?

In other words, this?

Or this?

Me? I'll be swooning over this.

Very funny Tatjana. Are you gonna turn big and green and smash stuff if you get upset with what i say?

Anyways, as good as he looked during Tusk era, he did have a few really bad short hair eras (think Go Insane folks), so i voted for the fro and beard.

EDIT: This is mainly for Tatjana, but that bit about turned big and green was a referrence to the Incrediblen Hulk, who does turn big and green when he gets mad.

Silver Springs 10-08-2010 05:18 PM

Oh my Buddha....This is like Sophie's choice....*fret*

Try saying that to Holidayroad when she comes on again. She'll probably spear you

It's a no to the fro from me, but then you already knew that was coming Cassie right?

Sure, his face is looking good and his expression is precious. But the hair? The hair is just a disaster. It's gravity defying, and not in the fabulous Wicked way. :p

He's either auditioning for the remake of Eraserhead or trying to replace Robert Smith in The Cure.

It looks exceedingly "run your fingers through it" worthy to me. Maybe I'm just biased because I like all his shades, even the murky ones with afro and no beard/porn-stashe (seriously creepy).

Yeah I did, but now I wanna change my vote :( I think I like Tusk more.

Hey, at least i don't have a son that shouts to me when the Simpsons say Fleetwood Mac  (and I don't have any kids, so there)

michelej1 10-08-2010 09:00 PM

I don't need it short. I also like it long and standing up, punkish. I just don't like it long and flopping all around and looking, possibly, dirty, as in the early years.

Michele

Love his look from 1978-82.

jellyman10 10-09-2010 04:02 AM

I love 'fro Lindsey! I love beards in general (on men), but there IS a wee problem for someone of my age living in the UK, and that is that White Album-era LB's beard looks REALLY like the beard on a very famous British serial killer from the late '70s.:sorry:

But even with that association, I go with the 'fro.

bluefox4000 10-09-2010 07:42 AM

That fro was SOOOOO big at one point it was unattractive to me and like swallowing his head so....no fro.

Mick

MissLadyLoki 10-09-2010 08:38 AM

OK, if I change my vote now to clean-shaven, it's be 6 and 11. BTW, is there a way I cna change my vote?

Haha. Very Mr Manson. (Numpty moment) I suppose if he was living his younger years in England today the afro and beard would be very short lived once he gets sick of people yelling "118!" at him lol.

It can't be Manson. He was infamous for the late 60's and he wasn't British.

Sugar. Yeah. Duh. Freudian Slip. I meant Yorkshire Ripper. A relative was one of the suspects before they caught him lol.

Yeah, the hair is pretty busted. But what kills it for me is the mascara, plucked eyebrows and eye shadow. He did androgyny before Boy George, Marilyn and Peter Burns!

Thank Buddha he didn't take it to the extreme as Pete Burns did. I don't think those lips would suit Lindsey somehow.

I don't care if he's bald. I like that man with every hair style...I mean he's had bad days just like all of us, but he's too good looking to make me say don't ever wear your hair that way again, dude....

So true. For me there isn't a bad era, hair-wise ( or otherwise ), for Lindsey. He's beautiful. Having said that, I still voted for clean shaven, since I'd prefer that his gorgeous face not be covered up! The fact that I first came to adore him after seeing the SYW concert on Soundstage probably influenced my decision as well

Hmmm...I'm not sure about the bald look on Lindsey, for one simple reason. As does Britney Spears, he seems to be suffering from a condition where his head is equal width to his neck. We all know how awful that looked on Britney :s

True. However the bald look looked pretty good on Demi Moore and what's her name, the Irish singer who offended the world for defaming the flag?

I do. She was actually more stunning without her hair than with it. She looked vaguely like a Vulcan with her black crop after that.

Probably. She did come out and say that he ought to step down after the whole catholic priest debacle. Personally, I think the whole Nazi youth thing should have been enough to stop him from being considered for the role in the first place. But that's just me. Tra la la...Don't want to get to heavy into politics or religion tra la la lol.

Don't worry, I hate politics, so much so that, when I was registering to vote and was so sick of the sides being taken that I became an Independent. Hell, I just think everyone needs to just learn to get along already and get over something that went down hundreds, even thousands of years ago.

Now that i got that aside, I'd rather see Bucky with Go Insane hair than him shaved bald

I always vote Green, just because I care for the planet than each party's personal squabbles.

Haha. Whenever I think of Lindsey bald, all I can think of is him with the conehead on. I really don't want his head to suddenly shoot upwards when he loses his last hair lol.

Just for accuracy's sake: Sinead's SNL protest was back in 1992 when John Paul II was pope. Benedict XVI, who became pope in 2005, was conscripted to join the Hitler Youth, and I don't think he had much of a choice.

Anyway, Natalie Portman also made a nice bald lady. Some people look surprisingly good bald, sometimes even better than they do when they have hair, but I don't think Lindsey is one of them. Curls all the way!

He's going bald very slowly, so we got some time before he needs to have his hair in a ponytail like Mick and John do lol

Ahhh! I was thinking of the more recent outspokenness against the Pope. My badness lol. As for the whole choice thing, I'll keep my personal judgements to myself.

Oh yes! Definitely. She looked especially good in V for Vendetta.
