What a strange decade... Fleetwood Mac had become unrecognizable as an opening act for REO Speedwagon and everyone seemed to be either feeding or ridding themselves of their demons. Stevie was self-destructing, Christine was apathetic and Lindsey viewed an indulgent club tour featuring six guitarists as a needed artistic expression. Everyone except for Mick and John had quit at some point. But by some act of divine intervention (or a ****load of $$$), they somehow pulled it together to come roaring back (albeit, on the strength of their old songs). It's a shame that Mick published his tell-all book early in the decade; it seems that is when the unraveling was just starting.
