So Maria and I hijacked Ethan's thread a little bit, and I thought it might be better to start our own. This is kid of like the post a picture of yourself thread but with a new twist. Post a picture of yourself as a kid and then as yourself now. We'll see how our little ledgies have grown up :)

they are lightening up in my old age...
my mom's eyes turned from dark brown to greenish/hazel when she was in her 30s.
mine are looking more and more like they are going to do that too.

Mine did the opposite. I had very, very blue eyes until I was about six, but they've gotten darker and greener every year. I'd post a picture where you can see this phenomenon, but I look like a tool in most pictures where you can see my eyes. :cool:

Isn't she? That's one of my favorite pictures of her in the whole world. It reminds me of an updated thirties film star. She's just so graceful and she absolutely glows.

Mine was Wednesday... I didn't realize we share almost the same birthday! I had lots of wine on my bday, too... I spent the day floating on an innertube drinking bubbly out of a plastic cup. Can we say CLASSY?!? :lol:

Hahaha! That sounds great!! I had to go to work in the morning (boo!) and spend half of my birthday doing invoices for various companies - why do we need to actually PAY bills?! Roll on the first academic job...

Anyway, after that I lazed around watching movies until some friends came round with lots of wine and cake that night - much better!
