i adore this pic~ when i was in high school in the 80's, they ran this pic in a teen mag, can't remember which one~ but some random girl had cut it out of her mag & came up & gave it to me~ remember how folks dressed in the 80's?, i was never into that & always dressed hippie/bohemian & was known as the 'stevie chick' in school~ i thought it was so cool that this girl i had never met before just gave me the pic~ i still have it, in one of my stevie scrapbooks:o~

i love the boots too~ when i was a kid my fav crayon colors were brick red & midnight blue & i remember thinking that the girls' boot were exactly those colors:lol:~ i used to sit & stare at them, i loved that chris was wearing the platforms right along w/ stevie~

Actually, I did know that, but it is completely my favorite of SN, so I try to forget it's a group shot!!

The source says: "From the January 30, 1975 issue of The CW" I guess that was a local paper, but there was no story or review, just the photo.

It did, Stevie's hair short circuited my sarcasm meter! :lol:

Interesting. The University of Alabama has a student newspaper called The CW. The school is in Tuscaloosa, which BN played the night before on the 29th. Bingo!

As far as I know, the only publication that printed Stevie's picture prior to this was Billboard magazine. A star in the making!

A friend provided this information and said he would try to locate the the newspaper so we can see/read the article...."the image came out of a 1975 issue of the Crimson-White, the student newspaper @ The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, which reviewed a Buckingham Nicks concert which occurred on campus in Morgan Auditorium. Stevie was 26 yrs old at the time. A friend of mine worked the soundboard at that concert & Nicks' drummer got the bootleg off of Igor's board."
