How old was Stevie when you were born and what was she doing?

February, 1962

Stevie was 13 years old when I was born. Because she was still un famous at this point, she probably was sitting in her bedroom with a sore throat or a cold, staring out the window, daydreaming.

louielouie2000 05-24-2010 02:48 AM

July of 1982. She was 34.

My guess is she was promoting/touring behind the very recent release of Mirage. :D

ButterCookie 05-24-2010 02:56 AM

August 1993

Writing stuff for Street Angel? Throwing the baby shower at which she tripped and cut her head on the fireplace. Something like that.

LorraineRN 05-24-2010 03:02 AM

August 1971

Just released the Buckingham/Nicks album; I think

Sleepless-Child 05-24-2010 05:00 AM

August 1992.
Recovering from the Timespace Tour, being proud of Bill Clinton's campaign song, and promoting 25-years the Chain. Oh, and she was...44.

Sanne2 05-24-2010 05:02 AM

April 1984
She was 35 and writing stuff and recording demos for Rock A Little?

StreetAngel95 05-24-2010 05:19 AM

March 1995 -

Honestly, i'm not sure what she was doing...maybe recuperating from all the Street Angel madness, losing some weight, and writing new songs....

Writing Twisted? :)

I saw some interview with Stevie on youtube, and there was written exactly the date of my birth, which is April 27th 1989. So I know that she was doing some interview. And I think that the TOSOTM album was done, it was 14 days before it was released. Yeah, that was great time for Stevie´s and Fleetwood Mac fans in Europe, every three years touring in Europe (1988-89-90).

StandbackStevie 05-24-2010 06:01 AM

I was born in April of 1970 Stevie was 21 yrs. old when I was born my guess ,Living with Lindsey and writing music and practicing there music and performing with there group Fritz and to getting closer to there dreams.

She was still in the group Fritz they started in 1968 to 1972 and Buckingham Nicks came out in 1973.

CADreaming 05-24-2010 06:58 AM

May 1970

Stevie was living in a house in Los Gatos with Lindsey and they were working on their music, still doing dates with Fritz and gaining the attention of Keith Olsen.

chriskisn 05-24-2010 06:59 AM

I was born on 24th May 1974. Stevie was about to turn 26, she was probably working as a waitress or some such and thinking her career wasn't going anywhere...

Lindsey meanwhile was hopefully planning a surprise birthday party for Stevie or shopping for a nice birthday present for her...

holidayroad 05-24-2010 07:41 AM

September 1974
Stevie was 26 and like what was already said, probably waiting tables, maybe working on Buckingham Nicks material, not guessing that she would soon be super famous!!!!

Stevie's~Prince 05-24-2010 08:46 AM

November 1991, Probably glad to be off the road, ****ty Mick wouldn't let her put "Silver Springs" on Timespace..

GypsySorcerer 05-24-2010 09:07 AM

June 1980

Off touring the world for Tusk.

You kiddos born in the 90s are making me feel REALLY old.

Maxd9 05-24-2010 09:17 AM

April 1988

I think Stevie had finished promoting 'Tango in the Night' and was probably busy writing songs and recording demos for 'The Other Side of the Mirror'.

IKV Nexis 05-24-2010 09:20 AM

May 27 1964
She has just finished celebrating her sweet 16th birthday!

petep9000 05-24-2010 10:43 AM

Jan 1970. She was 22. So she was touring up and down the coast with Fritz, I think. Probably living in a room with some lace and paper flowers, with her mattress on the floor (that she loved, despite the cockroaches).

Well there was Europe tour in 1998 in May and June! I think she started working on TOSOTM after that.

skcin 05-24-2010 11:24 AM

APril 1975. Working on the White Album?

sherhiannon 05-24-2010 11:44 AM

July 1970 ~ Stevie would've been 22, I think and living with Lindsey and singing in Fritz :)

Amlyn 05-24-2010 11:59 AM

February 1975, so Stevie was 26 and a member of Fleetwood Mac for just over a month. Probably adjusting to no longer waiting tables, but not yet washing those $100 bills stuffed in her and Lindsey's pants pockets.

When exactly?

chiliD 05-24-2010 01:55 PM

March 1956....she was 7...doing what MOST 7 year olds do, I would imagine.

jannieC 05-24-2010 02:43 PM

May 13, 1968...she was almost 20 (?) and hopefully waking up to this most mornings:

ohohoho

nailatixela 05-24-2010 02:57 PM

Feb 1992. She was done with the Timespace tour. Bill Clinton hadn't called yet. She might have been working on Street Angel songs, but that's a stretch. She was probably just sitting around with her tranquilizers, doing nothing, looking about as large as my 9 month pregnant mother.

chelluversu 05-24-2010 03:49 PM

April 1,1993...she's 44.

Street Angel period...she'd just gotten out of rehab a couple months before (I think)...
Maybe she's out playing april fools jokes on people...I have no effing idea lol

Macfanforever 05-24-2010 04:11 PM

Hey Viv you are the same age.ok When I was born a real looong time ago which was 1962 ,she was in school. and she probably sitting around with tunes flowing through her head.

APerfectLie 05-24-2010 06:24 PM

February 26, 1989, she was 40 years old, klonopined out of her mind, and probably waiting for OSOTM to be released.

louielouie2000 05-24-2010 06:42 PM

And here I've always said I've never found a Mac member to be physically attractive to me... I'd forgotten about young Lindsey! Very handsome!

jannieC 05-24-2010 06:52 PM

Not bad. And at least MY Lindsey was still in her future. :)

diane_k 05-24-2010 06:59 PM

5/16/76-on the edge of twenty seven

What was she doing? Coke, and several Eagles.

Seriously, there have been millions of threads, responses, episodes of Behind the Music, stories, interviews and songs written about what she was doing around that time.
