Who is your favorite female rocker? (NEW THREAD)
I made a tiny mistake in the first one with my listing and I couldn't fix it, so here's a new poll asking for your favorite ladies of rock n' roll. I can't begin to guess who'd win ;)

Ummm, where is the poll? LOL

Also, if you are putting Stevie on the list I would make this a multiple choice poll, allowing other ladies to garner a vote :-)

I forgot about hitting multiple choice! How do I fix that?
|
 Hardest. Poll. Ever!
I chose Debbie though... obviously  |
Give me Janis any day:thumbsup: With Stevie a close second

3-way tie between Stevie, Debbie Harry, and the Wilsons. I love Chrissie Hynde though, too, and of course Christine.

My problem is I dig the majority of 'em, namely Grace, Stevie, Chris, both Wilson girls, etc.
|
Well for me the choice was so easy! Stevie, of course. The thing is, i love all these women equally, under Stevie....
honorable mentions??? Courtney Love Joan Jett Souxsie Patti Smith |
Ann & Nancy Wilson. Ann's the love of my life. I was so torn between Debbie Harry & them though. Jeez. That was tough. With Stevie & Janis on there too i almost took a Heart attack. Heart. Mmmm.

[sarcastic]And who knew Stevie the long shot would take such a lead?![/sarcastic]
OK, just kidding. I do love Stevie and I found it no surprise to see her infirst place. Alas, I was having a Heart attack and had to give the Wilson girls my vote. |
I had to give my vote to Christine. Yes, I know it's a fav female rocker poll, not a favourite female artist poll, but I couldn't help myself. :sorry: Besides, the remaining selection was too difficult to choose from (you know it's true)!

Well, Stevie, of course!
Ann Wilson is perhaps the strongest female rock voice I've ever heard, when she's at her best. 'Tall Dark Handsome Stranger'- wow. I kind of am surprised to see her 'lumped' in this poll with her sister Nancy. It's "your" poll, so do it your way! Can Nancy really sing well? I'm not a Heart expert, just like Heart a lot. My least favorite Heart hit is 'These Dreams' and that was Nancy on lead vocal, right? Yet I think she also got credit for lead vocal on 'Nothing At All' and that sure sounds like Ann, to me. Sometimes I play Heart's version of 'Rock and Roll' followed by Stevie's. I like them both. But Ann sure sings the f**k out of it! |
