Going Under The Knife...

It's hard for me to be serious on here, but early next week I'm having surgery.
I would really appreciate all your prayers.

Thank you.

chelluversu 05-13-2010 08:19 PM

Good thoughts and prayers from me, too.

Just a little bit of cutting here and there. Sorry to be so vague about it.
I'm just getting a little nervous about it. Just took a chill pill and hopefully
will get some sleep. Thanks for asking my brother.

Chelluversu, JannieC, and LorraineRN thanks for your prayers and thoughts.
I hope to get a good report, and if so I'll check back in as soon as I can.

Again thanks for reading this Ledgies. It's comforting to know people are
praying for you.

Try to relax and trust your surgeon...he/she is on your side. :) Breathe.

iamnotafraid 05-21-2010 04:45 PM

Thanks to everyone of you for your prayers and good thoughts.

Well without being to graphic, I had some places cut out here and there.
Overall things went very good. Many stitches! I'll have to have some chemo
later in the year. Doesn't sound too bad though. Not like many have to go through.

Unfortunately for you Ledgies, the surgery didn't take out my sense of humour.
My funny bone is still intact.

Thanks again.

Zombie 05-21-2010 05:14 PM

Glad to hear you're doing all right, chief. You and your family are in my thoughts.

HomerMcvie 05-21-2010 05:17 PM

Good to hear that it went well. Hopefully the chemo won't be too hard on you.

David 05-22-2010 09:43 AM

Great news! Fight hard! No more snake hunting for now!
Listen to Beethoven Heiliger Dankgesang for recovery!

Thanks you guys & gals.

The chemo I'm going to have is something
new I believe. Call it a mild form of such.
Nothing like what many go through.

David don't make me laugh......you know stitches.

Best Wishes To You, stay strong!
I know you're a man of faith, and with that, you will have a lot of comfort and care coming your way. God's bigger than any problem or disease. You are covered, sir.
I know now that it was foolish for me to defend EJ and I apologize to you for a round or two of being petty with you. It was a lot of misguided energy, on my part.
With clarity, I want to wish you well.
Miracles happen every day, and I believe there will be one for you, without the chemo. Don't even think about that now. You know to boldly ask for a miracle, and I just prayed for a miracle for you, and for you to have comfort and strength.
Remember your screen name, iamnotafraid :)
God bless you and your family,
Kol, in Connecticut.

iamnotafraid 05-23-2010 01:07 AM

Nikolaj that was a very nice post. I really appreciate your prayers.

I can't even remember what we argued about!

This message board is a lot of fun for me. And I usually don't take
things too seriously on here.

With all this time on my hands you'd think I'd come up with a new
story. Let's see......
