Nip/Tuck: THE FINAL EPISODE (Carrie, DON'T READ)
Anyone else devastated? Seven years went by fast. :distress:
|
I reckon I'll never know what I was missing. ;)
|
1 hour til it's on... I'm really sad about this.
|
Great ending.
I really liked it. |

And it was a nice ending. Poor choice of song, but nice none the less. |

I thought the series finale was terrible! oh my god. I've really wanted this show to end on a high note for like 2 seasons, but it just got worse and worse and now that was the last episode ever? seriously? did not like it.

I thought the final episode was a total letdown.

I was so disappointed with the finale. The two of them dissolving the partnership was the most obvious way to end the show, so I thought (er, hoped) they would do something else, throw some kind of bizarre twist that you didn't see coming, like they did in the first few seasons. I actually thought Matt was finally going to realize what a loser he actually is and shoot himself while everyone else was enjoying dinner together. That's the kind of ending the writing from a few years ago would have taken. I mean, I've watched these characters for, what, 8 seasons? And it's not like I ever became attached to them so much that I would be distraught about them splitting up. I could care less. The only slightly interesting thing was the very end with Christian at the bar when they took it back to season 1. Otherwise, fail. Oh well, at least I've got the first three seasons on DVD to watch to remind me of how good it once was. Brad |
You have to remember when FX began to use "Nip/Tuck" as a red headed stepchild. Ever since the writer's strike of '07/'08, "Nip/Tuck" didn't get the commercial free episodes. The writing also went south. The move to southern California "jumped the shark".
Back then the FX network was after new blood, and I have yet to see the result. The only show you have (aside from Damages) that is worth a cent, is "Rescue Me". If you cancel that show, your job will end. The FX network is counting on a new show that deals with vigilantism. I will support it, but you have burned too many bridges. |
Total letdown.

Did anyone else watch Dirt?
That was a great FX show |
I've never seen an episode of this show, did i miss anything good.
|
I was bored by the whole thing. This whole last season was pretty much awful. I was hoping they would just stay true to the characters...let them go out the same way they came in...totally messed up and outrageous. Instead, they ruined it :(
