You are so welcome! I'm just glad there are others that enjoy this period as much as I do. ;)

I will be uploading the Jones Beach as well some time this week.

Thanks for posting. I think I have most of this on video but don't recall GDW being there.

Count me in as one who enjoys this "crazy" period! Loved it then and am fortunate that I was there at a few shows. Just wish THEY would surface on video. Have them on audio already (WI, IL).

Does your copy of Iowa look any better? Someone must have a lower gen copy.

Does anyone have a copy of Fleetwood Mac's '87 Iowa show? I used to have a VHS copy but it's MIA and that was another great show.

Mine is about the same as yours. I have the Iowa 87 DVD and lemme say that is a fu*cking show! Stevie was still totally with it. I remember at the end of the Chain she totally rocks it! There is some sort of power failure before SW and she forgets some of the words. In the middle of it she goes "That was a mistake!" Its really funny. This show also still has Rhiannon (incredible) and Gypsy before they were cut. Stevie wears her blue lamp shawl and beret from the tusk era. This version of Gypsy is awesome, she repeats over and over "I still see your bright eyes, yahh bright eyesss" then goes to the edge of the stage to finish the song. At the end Christine goes "Ahh the old gypsy." Stevie immediately turns and points and goes like "Hey!" Chris responds by saying "Not you!" You can see John hysterically laughing. Then they do little lies and Christine goes, "Those old lies." This DVD also has a killer version of DLMDA. I must also say that Go Your Own Way is awesome and has Stevie running from each side of the stage. They also have some guy playing acoustic, which they later didn't do. One more thing, its so weird to see Stevie on stage for oh well. She just rocks out with her tambo. Another highlight is Isn't it Midnight.

Sadly, I do not have the capability to copy DVDs, but I am pretty sure that this DVD is in decent circulation. Its shot from like the back of the floor so sometimes there are people in the way. I am not very picky when it comes to DVD bootlegs, ill watch anything. So i would personally give this one like a C+/B-, but many trade sites will give you prob a C- rating.

If anyone out there has the Kansas City 87 DVD (I KNOW IT EXISTS!), I would gladly trade for it!

In the 20+ years I've had this show, I have never grown tired of watching it. To me, myself, and I, this is the Holy Grail of Stevie's solo shows. It's a no holds barred, straight-up, ass kicking rock and roll show. This is truly the moments I live for.

LiamMcConville 01-26-2010 12:26 PM

This is one of my favorite performances of Rhiannon. Good ****.

I really have no idea how to do that. Nor, do I have the time really to try since I am away at school. But I may be willing to mail my original copy to a trustworthy trader to have upload in return for some other show?

Are there any shows in particular you are looking for? Since I started downloading torrents 4-5 years ago I've obtained quite a few shows so just PM what you're looking for and I would be more than happy to upload your copy to the masses. :D

It's great to watch this concert. I attended my first Stevie concert on the Rock a Little tour -- in Massachusetts. I remember being very annoyed at how Stevie strayed so far from the songs' vocal lines. I didn't appreciate her bleeting nuances. Even though a friend I was with thought it was a great show, I was disappointed. I thought she could have done much better.

Yet, now, with more perspective, I can appreciate the over-the-top aspects of her cocaine-fueled performance. (It was a moment in time, and thankfully she lived through it.) In some ways her energy level and passion manages to override her out-of-control vocals-- which is far more interesting than a controlled studio-like rendered vocal.

Funny thing about this tour: It had Eliscia Wright (is that her name?) singing background with with Laurie and Sharon. She had the dance moves and clearly made the girls step up. I never before or since seen Sharon dance with so much energy and so elaborately! Eliscia really put some funk into the show. Too bad she was only with the band for that tour.

Elisecia is great. And actually, Lori was always the dancer. If you watch the 1983 videos, she's dancing around while Sharon stays in-place.

 @ Stevie's bodyguard at 8:00 into Rhiannon.
