What's your favourite Christmas movie?

Hi everyone,

Now that they're all over the tv I was wondering: what is your favourite Christmas movie? The one that it just isn't Christmas without and you must watch every year? Mine are:

The Muppet Christmas Carol: Curled up in front of the fire with a huge mug of hot chocolate and this movie...bliss!

It's A Wonderful Life: Cliched choice but it's quite rightly one of the best Christmas films ever and I still either cry, or almost do, at the end no matter how many times I've seen it. Damnit!

Elf: I like smiling. Smiling's my favourite!

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I love the Griswold's yuppie neighbors.
It's a Wonderful Life. Yes, it's overly sentimental, but I don't care. I cry every single time too, especially at the line "To my brother George, the richest man in town." Hell, my eyes are welling up just thinking about it.
Scrooge. The Alastair Sim version of A Christmas Carol. I think this is the best of the million versions on the story.

Santa's Slay.

If for no other reason than to see Fran Drescher, who has a cameo appearance, get set on fire and then drowned in a bowl of egg-nog.

Just thinking about it makes me feel all Christmasy.

Christmas Vacation. My family & I have been watching that for years and I always find something new to laugh at. It's just hilarious.

White Christmas. Classic. I <3 Bing.

Elf. Hilarious.

Love Actually
Meet Me in ST Louis

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
The Nightmare Before Christmas
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the classic animated one. Don't even get me started on that other one)

Also it's not a movie, but I love the Blackadder Christmas Carol special.

I can't believe I forgot these!

my favorite without a doubt...

A CHRISTMAS STORY!!!

**Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer/original special/no computer crap.
**It's A Wonderful Life--Jimmy Stewart is the best....love it!!
**Charlie Brown Christmas
**A Christmas Carol. I like the older versions/some b/w one color version that I like has George C Scott.
**I wish they had 'old' Christmas music specials that they used to have on as well....sad thats all but gone now a days......
I may have forgot something but to me those are the best ones to me anyway......just like I like things more simplistic /music/sometimes flashy is just that....no substance.....simple is sometimes good......

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (Griswold is the epitome of my father)
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Love Miracle on 34th Street

I confess to having only seen the 90s remake, but Mara Wilson is just too cute for words. Maybe this Christmas I will break with tradition and check out the original...

And I'm always torn as to whether Love Actually is really a 'Christmas movie', but it is so fantastic that I would probably let it count ;)

Love Actually, it's got some brilliant actors in there and parts of it still make me cry now (when Jamie leaves that Spanish girl, anyone?) even though I've seen it x475635543 times.

I loathe Elf.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn

Yes! I can't believe I forgot this one!

 Me too.

They've all already been mentioned but Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without them
