How is this Stevie - I reckon its her eyes :confused:
I have seen other pivtures like these before.

Its a nice shot with he parents.

Stevie looks completely different without makeup on. Especially without heavy eye makeup.

So you reckon she hasn't got any makeup on?
Anyone else?

She's got makeup on - you can see the blush and the lipstick or lipgloss.

Looks like the picture was probably taken in the late '80s. That's definitely Stevie. I need to dig around some more and find pictures of her when she's not done up in stage/media makeup. She looks almost completely different. Being a blonde, her eyelashes and eyebrows are snow white, and she has very pale skin. It looks like another person. There is the famous curlers picture from a year or two, and she looks like she's 75. There are pictures from the past 10 years where she's done radio interviews without the heavy stage/camera friendly makeup too... you almost wouldn't recognize her.

The reminds me, we should have a "Stevie Pics Without Makeup" thread! I love me my Stevie all the same, whether she's totally done up or not!!! :)

I think the blonde is from a bottle, though. Stevie's naturally a brunette, no?

Yes-ish. I think she's naturally a dishwater blonde to light brown.

I always thought she looked like an emo teen sort of in that photo :laugh::laugh: idk! But she looks teen-ish

Really? I always thought her hair was medium brown, judging by her eyebrows and roots (although dyed blonde hair makes the natural colour look darker). I don't know though, some people's eyebrows are far darker than their natural colour, and vice versa.

I can sympathize. I look like an idiot without any mascara. :laugh: My lashes are dark, but not dark enough!

Folks....Stevie is not a natural blonde by any means :distress: Her eyebrows and lashes are dark

So does anyone know why she looks so different?

But I'm a natural blonde and I have dark eyebrows and eyelashes! My hair has darkened a bit over the past 5 years or so, but I was really blonde up until my late teens and everyone used to ask me if I dyed my hair when I didn't!
I think Stevie's natural hair is probably more brown than blonde though, just from the tone of her skin and her eyes. :shrug:

There are many pics of Stevie from the past where she is clearly au natural - brown. I would say a medium to dark brown. I think her hair up until the mid-late 80's has always just been her natural brown with varying amounts of blonde highlights at any given time.

Check out some early white album photos (even the back of the album) and how about the BN album cover? Also, she was fairly brunette during a large chunk of the Tusk tour. Remember that RAL interview from 1984/5 (we still can't figure it out)? She had fairly dark hair with only blonde in the front.

She's not a natural blonde. Her natural haircolor is light to medium brown. That's her in the pic, just with less dramatic eye makeup on. I also think like someone else mentioned, that for the most part Stevie's just always heavily foil highlighted her hair to varying degrees but never outright totally bleached it a solid color like say Gwen Stefani. Also for instance say the RAL years where it was darker brown and then blonder in front, they could've just ran brown highlights through the rest and then lightened the front possibly. You can do a dark highlight the same as people get light highlights. Complicated maybe to understand, but the women here will know what I mean lol.

pretty sure that's from the Street Angel era '94/'95. She's clearly heavy in that shot and she's sporting the side part which she did often during that period. She's also got the multiple silver braclets which points to SA.

This picture was in the Timespace tourbook. So 1991, or maybe 1990 if it was an older picture.
