Did You See Fleetwood Mac on The Unleashed Tour????
Was just curious to how many of us ACTUALLY went and saw the best band in the world on their current tour???
I saw them in Columbus, Ohio, 3rd row, right in front of Stevie. For those of you all who know me, that's been a long time coming- and it was the BEST night EVER!!!!! Loved when Lindsey looked at talked to me!!! |
I'm still mad that I couldn't go due to unforseen circumstances.
|
Nope......after 30+ years (1976 was the first time!) of seeing every tour (often multiple times!), I passed on both the SAY YOU WILL tour (no desire to see the band without Christine) and this one (no desire to see a Greatest Hits tour.....and even with the addition of one or two new/old songs, that's EXACTLY what this tour was!!!)
|
I saw them from the 23rd row in St. Paul, then in Milwaukee , right under Lindsey's mic. It was like two totally different shows.
|
I saw them on April 20th in Orlando...an amazing night! It was an early birthday present. I had tickets pretty close to the stage that lined up perfectly with Stevie's mic stand. Then right before it started, lot of people decided to mosh pit it. It was super annoying and we couldn't see anything so we just kind of pushed through them and got right up behind the last row of seats in section A, which was only 5 or 6 rows from the stage. :)
|
yes I saw them in manchester, UK. 27.10.09
My first FM show, as big a sucker for a good guitar solo as I am, it was Stevie I was most excited to see. She almost made me cry with "storms". Just a shame they chopped off Silver springs, the Glasgow ledgies know how I feel :( |

Nope. Didn't come to Portland- the largest metro area in the country they skipped on the Unleashed tour.
Probably just as well, as they inexplicably played here twice on SYW tour. Plus, we're sick of Lindsey (3 solo shows in 18 months... no wonder why the first three rows at his Sep '08 solo show were all but empty) |
I opted out because I didn't have an interest in a Greatest Hits tour. When the kids have new material to support, I'll be up front in bells and whistles!
|
Yeah I did. Thanks to You Tube.
|
I saw them in Birmingham at the NIA. Paid to sit 21 rows back, but got right to the front by Lindsey's mic and even shook hands with him!
I also saw them on the last London show (This was almost a last minute decsion as I knew I would regret not going to as many gigs as I could), this time I was sat 2 tiers away from the stage, but it was great to have a good view of the stage without a 1000 heads in the way:laugh: |

Yes~ 2x.... First front row in Rochester 3-16-09....first time front row...amaaaazing:nod: and the second time was the 6-11-09 show at MSG 6 th row first tier all the way to the side by Lindsey...very cool to see the 2 different views.
|
Due to these stupid things called college finals, I couldn't go to any of the Texas shows.
Boo. :( I'm still depressed as hell about it, too. |

I mean it wasnt terrible. It just wasnt what I expected from my first Mac show. And from some youtube videos, one of thier weaker shows on this tour. And Lindsey did have a good night. But when you pretty much go to see Stevie, it sorta irritates you... |
Many Times
Saw the Mac in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Atlantic City - I wish I could go to Australia
|
I went to both MSG shows and the Meadowlands show.
|
Also went to both MSG shows and East Rutherford. I also went to Kansas City since I was visiting friends there that weekend.
My favorite was the 2nd MSG show which I saw courtesy of the 7th row. |
I went to 2 shows, Nassau Coliseum in March , and Madison Square Garden in June.
|
Row 1, seat 1 at the May 20th Oakland show. Best thing ever.
And I was supposed to go to the San Jose show the next night but my parents decided that it "wasn't a good idea" the day of the show... I couldn't even sell my tickets :( |
Honda Center, Anaheim, CA. 11th row ticket, first row seat. ;)
|
I went to the Atlanta show in April, my first Fleetwood Mac show. Floor seats, Section 9, seats 5 and 6! Great show!

But, anyways, Lindsey knows me from years back. He went out of his way to notice & spot me in Portland on the UTS tour (with a rather awkward & deliberate point, Mirage video style), and found me again on the GOS tour. After one song, he motioned to me (6th row on the aisle.. venue was practically empty), referring to the front section (empty) and looking confused. I threw my hands up. During one of the later songs (I'm So Afraid? World Turning? I don't know, it all blends together, honestly), I was practically falling asleep in my chair. Lindsey came over to my side of the stage, yelled (away from the microphone, but still audible in the small venue), which caught my attention- turns out he was looking at me, seemingly annoyed that I was bored. I shrugged and pointed to my wrist. I guess Lindsey & I aren't friends anymore. |

They were pretty good I have to say but it did strike me as being the Lindsey Buckingham show. Stevie wasn't that animated but I think she's not too good these days with shows on consecutive nights (I went to Wembley on the 31st Oct) Gail |
I saw the Mac three times on the Unleashed tour -- my first times ever seeing the band perform.
I went to the first show of the tour -- Pitts PA -- All-Access 14th row aisle seat on Lindsey's side. Then I went to both MSG shows: 1) All-Access 14th row aisle seat on Lindsey's side. 2) 2nd row, so stood right up at the stage, Lindsey's side -- Normal ticket (who knew?) Favorite show: The first MSG was a work a work of art; the second MSG was a party. |
Well as there isn't an "Intending to see them" button I can't vote. 11th December for me...
|
Twice!
After 19 years The Mac was back in the low countries. I simply don't want to speak about the debacle of the Time-line up in 1994 :-)
Alas, it was 5 years after I saw them last in Germany during the SYW-tour and i saw Mac in Antwerp...glued to the stage on the very very very first row at the feet of mr. Buckingham (could touch his pedals I wanted to) and saw them in Rotterdam (the day after) from 5th row (all standing) or something. I were two magical nights and I wish all the Aussies and Kiwis the time of your life at the shows! |

Best day in my life, no doubt! |
