Any Golden Girls fans here ?
 

My first-ever episode i watched on the day Bea Arthur died, i was curious who she was and i found the show online and was HOOKED ever since.
God knows GG helped me get through some tough days... there wasn't a week since that day in april that i didn't watch at least one episode.
It's funny, witty, warm, comforting; the emotions are balanced prefectly. I just can't get over how well it was written (and acted, of course!)

*raises hand* I'm a huge Golden Girls fan! The person who uploaded all the episodes to youtube is my hero. It's one of the best sitcoms ever created, in my opinion; it definately created some vibrant characters and memorable moments.

Yep, I'll admit it...I've seen every episode about a 1000 times :)

my fav is Sophia.
She reminds me of myself and is the perfect example of how I want to be when I'm old.

Everyday there is a marathon on tv...nothing but GG for like 3 hours.

i love to watch the golden girls.

I usually watch it nightly when Craig Ferguson is over/the guest is lame. then I watch the hour of Cheers that comes on after it and then I go to bed... thats pretty much my routine lately! ha!

Rose's daughter was a selfish snatch.

The Golden Girls raises the sitcom to the level of art.

I've loved the show ever since it first aired in 1985. I have the DVD box set and I know every episode by heart. I also enjoyed the spin-off called Golden Palace. That was on for only one season though and not quite up to the awesomeness that is GG.

I LOVE IT. They don't show it anymore in Peru, no cable channel shows it (we don't have Lifetime). But every time I go to US I try to watch it..

Sophia rocks, one day i plan to put the best clips of her GG moments together cause so far i haven't found anything like that on youtube.

So true. My entire family is obsessed with the Girls and quotes from the show constitute our house's second language. Sophia is definitely our favourite -- and I just laughed out loud in a quiet college computer room at the "hoping it is the john" line!! Aaargh I really need a healthy dose of "picture it" now :D

love the show, offcourse i remembered it from when i was younger and when the dvd boxes were released a couple of years ago i started collecting them, however after the 3th season was released over here in Holland for some reason buena vista home entertainment (disney) stopped releasing them. i was lucky enough to run into a region1 import from season 5 on sale and about a year later i found season 4 while on holiday in Berlin, i gave in and finally downloaded the last 2 seasons last year and have almost finished watching the seventh season now.

my favorite character is without a doubt Dorothy Zbornak, but in fact they all compliment each other greatly, interesting to note that Marc Cherry (creator and writer of Desperate Housewives) was involved as a writer/producer on the last couple of seasons on Golden Girls. No they don't make em like this nowadays

I love the GG! I have every season on DVD.

Golden Girls quotes creep into my everyday conversation, no exaggeration. I love it even more when people supply the next line instead of looking at me like :confused:
But then again, I don't mind if people think I've made up something witty like that on my own. ;)
