Letter to Stevie
 

Ok, so I know this has been asked before (at least I think it has) but I really NEED to ask again :) I have written letters to her fan mail, the Nicksfix address, before BUT I need a more better way to send it to know that she gets it, you know? Is there anyone who has recived a letter respond by Stevie herself??????????? Last time I wrote to her I wrote a 10 pages letter nearly begging her to come to Sweden, and well she did!!!! LOL :laugh: And all I want is an autograph from Stevie, haha xD, I know I'm a freak, haha! But, yeah, can someone help me???

I wrote a short letter to her pretty much telling her how much I love her and how I wanted an autographed picture. I'm not sure about the time between I wrote the better and when I got an autographed picture. BUT got home from school one day and saw I had a package. I opened it and it was an autographed picture of Stevie.

My God!! How amazing is that?! I'd give my life to get a package from Stevie... But I guess that doesn't happen to everyone, right??

Caitlin, what address did you send it to? The Nicksfix one?

I actually just did the whole "Ask Stevie" thing. I didnt mail it

Posted this before, but yes, I sent a letter to the nicksfix address and got a package back from Stevie. This was in 2004 though. I think there was about a 4 month period from when I sent the letter and when I received something in the mail.

I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna write one. This is going to be QUITE the process considering I could approach this from about 50 different angles... we'll see.

So it looks like the NicksFix address works....but I'm not really sure as I have already sent like 5 letters to that address in 2 years, lol
But do you mean the fan mail address or the other one? And do you think I can email to John Kinney at the NicksFix and tell him everything and then he can send it to Stevie in any way...???

They have changed the URL to rockalittle.com insted of nicksfix.com.....but I don't know why?? Maybe it was something wrong so they had to change it???

As someone who looks after fanmail my advise is NOT to write a 10 page letter

I wrote a letter back in September, i posted a thread about it actually. Idk if i'll get a reply seeing as how she is on tour but i hope she reads it.

I give anyone kudos for writing Stevie.....after all these yrs of fandom I've not ever tried to 'write' her snail mail.....or ask for an auto pic. Not that I haven't ever thought about it or that it hadn't crossed my mind for these 21yrs or so....I just guessed that I wouldn't hear back from her.......I guess I should 'try' at least but not anything long thats for sure......give her ideas of what she could release for us fans.....like thats gonna happend.....LOL.....good luck.....:shrug::nod:

Agreed Pip, I also answer fan mail and after speaking with Ginny (the gal that used to handle Stevie's fan mail) she said she wouldn't read anything more then a page. A while ago John K. had told me that he sends a 'package' to stevie about once a month with various things he receives from fans. My understanding is that is goes straight to Karen so who knows what stevie sees or doesn't see....

Word of advice.....DO NOT go on about how much you love Stevie and how much she means to you and how you would DIE if you met her.........these kinds of letters are viewed as potential stalkers and, 9 times out of 10, not only get put into the circular file but also get logged on a "potential threat" list!
This list was VERY real when I interned at Modern years ago....I'm sure it's only gotten worse in the last few years, as crazy as things have gotten!
REMEMBER.....be low key, to the point, and don't HOUND HER!!!!
