Fleetwood Mac Unleashed Tour Bloopers~

So, I thought it would be interesting and funny and cute to post videos of slight Mac flub ups from this tour. I think it really makes this band human, which is awesome to see, when there are bloopers on stage!!! There are two that I can think of, but only one that I'm able to identify on video!

Landslide- Nassau

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFLfktgXSpo

The second one that I can think of was when Stevie forgot the words to Storms, but I don't remember which city it was in. Anyone remember? :)

Much Love,
Ethan

I love the idea of this thread, but I'm sorry that I have nothing to contribute. They were flawless in the two shows that I saw.

Here's when Stevie's mic stand almost fell during Sara, lol:

And those Stand Back problems at the Stockholm, Sweden show, you know, when Brett had synth problems and Mick, John and Lindsey started to play and he told them to keep on playing but then they stoped and Stevie came out wondering what was going on and etc...etc :) That was quite fun to watch in real life though, lol ;)But there's No video, I think.

Is that what happened? I have the audio torrent of the Sweden show and I was wondering what happened. I thought Stevie was just taking her time coming out from the tent! Did she come out with her hands on her hips like "what the @$#%?

The thing that happened during landslide happened in pittsburgh too... you don't think thats scripted do you?

It happened at the same part, after the song she said
"You guys made us miss our cue... completely forgivable though"

I don't know- I guess it could be. They waited awhile before doing it in Columbus- but no real screw up!

fleetwoodtrick 10-23-2009 10:17 PM

I am now convinced by those two videos that Stevie is the cutest 61 year old on earth.

Landslide: I was smiling right along with her. I love to see her smile like that!

Sara: I love her expression. And when she's like "...Oooh." (Or perhaps oops, but I think oooh is cuter!) :wavey:

That's exactly what I was thinking. But I took out the 61 part. She's just the cutest person alive. Ever.

What about shooting a bird? I read she did that on the SYW tour when some guys were flipping Lindsey off for having them thrown out of the concert. LOL.

That's what happened, it was synth problems... The reviewers in the swedish newspapers said it was Stevie who was late BUT we who were standing right in front of the stage saw that it wasn't but it was Brett who had problems.
And here's a picture I took when it happened and Stevie came out wondering what was going on, you can see her face, lol:

I forget when, but earlier on in the tour there was a problem during The Chain. I believe it was Mick's fault on the drums. The whole song started to fall apart and Lindsey moved over to Mick and played guitar really loud to get the song back on track. It's on youtube somewhere, haven't seen the video since it was first posted though.

Also didn't someone say there was more keyboard problems over in Europe during Don't Stop?

Totally agree.

I determined she was the cutest person ever back in around 2003, so a 6 year reign is not bad at all!!!! :)

Verizon Wireless Arena, Stevie forgot the words to Storms,
I don't have a video of it though, she stopped singing for a few seconds

Aw, she looked so adorable in all of those clips. And her smile during Landslide made me so happy! Stevie really is the cutest and most adorable woman ever!

Fleetwoodmark 10-24-2009 04:56 PM

Forgive if Im wrong but after the bass line in The Chain Mick was a little off beat (too slow) towards the end meaning Lindsey had to kind of adjust the tempo of the solo in Glasgow.

I was at the Nassau show and I don't think it was scripted at all. Stevie planned a pause there, but she spaced out. Realizing she paused to much and add in Lindsey's facial expressions,it was just a matter of time. It really was a fantastic moment, very real, very funny, we were all laughing. It makes the band that much more open to it's audience when you can see that they make mistakes as well.

ragrsrocalot 10-24-2009 05:36 PM

I was also at Madison Square Garden (6-11), although I don't have a clip of it, there was an extended pause in darkness, before Stevie came to the mike and said " When you get to be 61, you tend to forget ".I want to say that it was before Gypsy.

Musicman408 10-24-2009 06:04 PM

Here is The Chain mess up with Mick. It gets pretty squirley there!

When she held my hand and signed my dvd/cd at the B&N soundstage signing, all I could say to her is: "YOU ARE SO CUTE!!!"

j/k

She just looked up at me, beamed her big smile across her luminous face and said: "awwwww..." and then I was whisked away.

It's all a blur. The only clear memory I have and will never forget is her tiny, cold, smooth, SOFT hand holding mine like a baby holds its mothers'.

I haven't seen many SYW shows. I think it was in London? Anyway, would pay to see it!! Can you imagine? It must have not been funny at the time, but it would be funny to see now!

GypsyBlueEyes 10-26-2009 02:48 AM

LOL! I am still watching that Landslide clip over and over again. I absolutely love it!

I forgot about this until you mentioned it. This was the 4th show I saw this year so i was expecting Stevie wasn't heading up to the mike to tell the Gypsy story. But, she just stood there with her back to the audience and after about a minute or so Lindsey walked over and said something to her and then she walked up to the mike and said the thing about being 61. If i recall, it good a good laugh. Anyhow, here's the audio clip of that night's Gypsy.
