did anyone get any legit seats?
theyre offering me CRAP sections
they say there are NO gold reserve floor seats in brissy yet they sale theyre available

i have no tickets
im going to cry :distress:

It appears that ticket allocations are following the trends in the US - presales are not yielding good seats, however some good seats get dropped in for general sale at a random time closer to the concert, if not sold at the premium prices, in our case www.preferredseating.com.au

It is unfortunate the the "first come first served" system is no longer the case.

I got mine! Sydney Sliver section. I kept trying to refresh ad get better gold seats but they were crap at the back of the floor. Im at very side of the stage so shold be good! :blob2:

I'm saying some HUGE prayers for you.. in hopes you get some good seats! I know you will, and I'd wait a bit until the tickets "drop".. We got lucky, and got some awesome seats on Stevie's side too. My friend who we went with got like
3rd row seats a few days before the show, as they just dropped them.. so, I'd wait.. I'm SOOOO excited for you...

I'm glad it wasn't just me! I couldn't believe it when I pulled up pretty ordinary silver tickets for Brisbane, after preparing for hours like I was going on some top-secret reconnaissance mission.

I bought them anyway, because I couldn't hang out any longer, but best of luck to you for the public sale :nod: .

In hindsight, the $245 A reserve tickets on Preferred Seating wouldn't have been a bad option for me. Only $50 extra (not a lot really) and, though I don't know exactly where they are, they couldn't be any worse than what I have!

Oh well ( ;) ) . My fingers are crossed for the 2nd Brisbane show to be offcially announced, as I hastily decided to pay the premium price for 2 front row tickets for that date last week. I'm trying to play it cool though, just in case it doesn't happen (which would be just my luck :rolleyes:).

Yes the presale was a joke. After several attempts the best I could get for the Hunter Valley show was B1, so settled for those. They aren't great. Then I went onto the Ticketek presale for the Sydney show and literally 1 min past 12 they were saying all the gold seating was gone! So being the impulsive person that I am, paid $400 for 5th row reserve through Preferred Seating. Its costing me an arm and a leg but what the hell!

Have they been allowing people to go right up to the front?

I went online at 9am, went in late to work... searching and searching for tickets... and i din't know i had to have a stupid password, so spent like 30 mins trying to get that! :shrug:
Anyway, the perth tickets were not on sale at 9am like they were supposed to be, so i ended up buying not so great tickets to hope estate.
Then 12noon came, so presale for Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, WHAT CRAP! **** seats, absolute crap!

But, i am not worried, i have taken Friday morning off from work, and i think that the public sale will be ok, and, if its not, i'll pay the ticket agencies the premium... I've had only the best seats for FMAC and Stevie when they came out here a couple of years ago, and if i'm going to buy tickets, catch planes, pay for accommodation, i want the seats to be just as great! :rolleyes:
I may have to pull my finger out and contact the guy who hooked me up with Stevie's awesome tickets last time.. thats if he still works for "Andrew Mcmanus presents" still

It seems to me though that they must have released all the tickets as Brisbane and Melbourne have pretty much sold out :shrug: .

(On the other hand, it seems true when they say people in Sydney go to nothing.)

I just checked back on Ticketek and they have a second date listed for Brisbane, though when you click on it it just says "Unable to display additional information at this time."

But hopefully that is a good sign for second shows in Brisbane and Melbourne? Your luck has to be better second time around!

Tickets for the 16th of December in Brisbane on sale right now at Ticketek.com.au. I would suspect this is a glitch, but I would be making the most of it. All sections available.

Edit: So maybe not a total glitch after all. Tickets to the 2nd Melbourne show going on sale in 12 minutes at 11am AEST.

I got great seats for Sydney and 3 row in the 2nd Perth show. great seats in the first Perth show but Melbourne was a nightmare... i did get some though but the section isn't on the seating chart?

^ I'd say they're Section A. The additional -A seems a bit odd, but it doesn't make much sense for them to be any of the other floor sections.

To those who were happy to pay the premium prices - well done, you can relax and I hope you enjoy it!

For the rest of us - there is something quite strange going on with this selling strategy. Myself and a friend were both online right at the start of both the presale and the general sale. We did not get offered anything on the floor in the front or middle sections.

Even if all the seats in the first five rows have sold out for every concert through Preferred Seating (which I doubt), there appears to be a significant number of rows that have not been put up for sale yet. It's highly unlikely that about a thousand people got in seconds before us and grabbed them all.

My advice to everyone who doesn't have ticket yet - keep trying and keep sharing info on this site about itcket drops - there aren't that many of us, so hopefully we will all get something we are happy with.

I saw six shows in the US in April/May and was at the stage for five out of six - only ever paid standard price. It was a gamble that paid off for me - most tickets were bought on the day of the show or 6-7pm at the venue on the night. Not sure if it will work out here, but the practice of holding back good seats does appear to continue!

Could not get seats for New Plymouth - "Allocation exhausted" :shocked:

I'll never understand why this is done. It is so stressfull getting concert tickets to Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. Many of us have to worry right up to the night of the show if we are even going or not. Many of us have over an hour's drive to get to the venue.
I miss the good old days when you could point to the seating chart at the venue and say," I'll take those seats." If they were sold out already then they gave you a choice of other seats. The internet gives you about 60 seconds and then terminates you from the page and then you gotta log in again. And what's with these silly passwords we need to log in? Why not just let us in, as we are ready with our credit cards in hand?
AND it should be first come first served. Just my two cents.

I can relate, I didn't get good seats either.
Ended up buying six tickets to hope valley estate... lol.
Still haven't got tickets for the other shows i want to go to:
Melbourne, want tickets for both shows
Brisbane. want tickets to the last show.

I was online too as soon as they went on sale, got crap, so didn't buy them. Now i am a little worried that for me to go to these concerts, i will have to pay a very lot for them, which combined with the airfares and accomm makes it a rather expensive affair.

Back when they came out here in 2004, and likewise when stevie came out solo, i went to nearly every concert and paid for the privlidge because i thought it would be the last time they would come out here.. But now they are coming back again, so while i want to go, i won;t be going to all the concerts like what i did last time.
And admittedly, after seeing all the ledgies awesome audio and video's from this tour, Stevie sounds absolutely amazing.. but I think the passion, brilliance and effort may be extinguished by the time they get out here, and i may be disappointed when comparing it to the US tour.

I'm not sure what shows people are waiting on, but some more gold reserve tickets seem to have been released for the 2nd show (Dec 16) in Brisbane. They were previously showing as single seats only, but I just pulled up two tickets in Row 8, Stevie's side (and promptly released them back to sale for those who are still wanting to purchase ;) ). There seems to be quite a few tickets from there back to the 10th row.

I have looked online now, and am pulling up row AK??

I'm not sure if that's what you were wondering, or if it was an expression of disappointment after I was spruiking Row 8 ;) .

If it was the former, I've found this seating map to be a bit more helpful than the FM-specific one. If it was the latter, forget I said anything!

Yeah! Congrats on the great seats Janis... I saw seats 15& 16 in that same row (finally they popped up). Then I realized tix to Brisbane for my wife and I were going to be $800+... so I just decided against the whole thing. :rolleyes:

Blimey! Petrol would almost cost as much as the airfare! Of course I don't know where Janis is based, but from Brisbane I might consider driving to the Hunter Valley and Sydney at a stretch, but nowhere else -- mostly because of the time it would take. We're not that small :p
