I hit an oil patch at 20 and am now skidding towards the grave...in other words, I'm 27

vivfox 08-29-2009 10:11 PM

I'm 47. I was born four days after Sheryl Crow and three weeks before Jon BonJovi and two weeks before Rosie O'Donnell. I should be famous.
This is a picture of me taken in 2008:

35, share a birthday with Bob Dylan (although not the same year of course) and was born the exact day Duke Ellington died. For the younger ones who have no idea who Duke Ellington was he was a jazz composer/band leader.

You'd think I'd be muscial but I don't have a musical bone in my body.

I'm 17. (insert edge wail here)

DavidMn 08-30-2009 02:03 AM

silvasprings 08-30-2009 02:12 AM

17... further from the edge and closer to eighteen....

Dodfather 08-30-2009 02:34 AM

I've often wondered this about Ledgies too! I'm 27...and I share a birthday with Linda Ronstadt! I love that.

BombaySapphire3 08-30-2009 02:40 AM

Another Kennedy baby here ..47.

daniellaaarisen 08-30-2009 04:49 AM

I was very surprised by that. I hope you take this as a compliment, from your posts and pictures I thought you were around 20.

I just turned 20 a week or so ago. Not loving it, I don't have an excuse for the angst anymore.

Or so you think! Believe me, your 20s can be sufficiently angsty. You just can't explain it all away by being a teenager now though! Sure you'll be fine though, I don't want to be the voice of doom!

Musicman408 08-30-2009 08:40 AM

Wow- a lot more younger guys than I thought!!!

Enchanted_Stevi 08-30-2009 09:25 AM

I'm 19:blob1:

That's exactly what I'm sayin'. ;)

golddustdrummer 08-30-2009 10:46 AM

21 here :wavey:
which sadly, is not as exciting as I'd hoped.

BellaDonna 08-30-2009 11:24 AM

I will be 28 next month!

No one ever guesses I'm seventeen-- and don't worry, that is definitely a compliment to me :) People usually assume I am somewhere in between 20 and 25.

And let the angst live on! I'm sure mine will still be alive and kicking when i'm in my twenties and thirties, so whatever :)

There's no age limit on angst. I'm beginning to think it goes on forever.

I'm planning to turn mine into pure unrefined bitterness at exactly the age of 97 just on general principle. Then just for kicks and giggles, I'm going to switch it to a general cloudy misty feeling for three years, and from age 100 to 110 a basic buzz
while I watch tv and reflect on the meaning of life, football and sunbeams reflecting
off of dust bunnies. I'll have to see where to take it from there.
There may be some pointing at whippersnappers involved;
especially while rambling about how they don't know what good music is these days.

:p

Interesting demographic. 50% are 28 or younger... the other 50% are older than that.

I get the feeling most of the older Ledgies aren't game for these types of questions.

Well me personally, I'm old enough to know better
and young enough not to care! ;)

fleetwoodtrick 08-30-2009 10:05 PM

15! (And angsty!)

Please, please, please, let the angst go away the second I turn 20! :( Or sooner, sooner would be better.

Well they call 40 the new 20 so you're only 10. But seriously, you're only 10. ;)

Forget the bullsh*t society fills you up on about age. You're still just a baby, trust me on that. I do wish looking back I could have enjoyed the ride of my 20s more worrying less and having faith that things would work out. They did for the most part so most worrying is fruitless. Hell all worrying is fruitless since it has no impact on the outcome. I also wish I spent more time doing what I WANTED to do and less time trying to figure out what I SHOULD do. Identifying what you want, what your passions are and going after them, really is what's important IMO. Plus being kind to your fellow man along the way.

I'm 38 but fly under the radar a bit passing for 25-29. Most people seem to forget my age even when I tell them. I guess I am also immature, or "youthful" in attitude to put it more graciously.

Black_Moon 08-31-2009 11:35 AM

I am sixteen, and share a birthday with Shakira actually.

belledejour 08-31-2009 11:42 AM

I'll be 40 and I share Garbo's birthday

SuzeQuze 08-31-2009 12:04 PM

I share my birthday with Rick Shroeder!
