Live Mirage Shows

I am desperately trying to find some Live Mirage shows to download or do a 2 for 1 trade. I don't even know what bit torrent means so Throwndown is not for me. I'm lucky I can download and burn a CD!! lol Anyway I only have the Oakland, CA show and would love to get more from Mirage especially since this was such a short tour in comparison to all the others!! Anyone who could help I would so appreciate it!!!

daniellaaarisen 08-25-2009 07:29 PM

I second this. I know there are not many recordings from this tour BUTTT I am desperately lacking Mirage stuff.

FMlex 08-25-2009 10:45 PM

Yes, yes! The only audio I have is from the DVD. :(

And it's excellent quality and everything, but I'd love to hear stuff from another show!

Gypsycat999 08-31-2009 01:27 PM

Here are the two shows I have beside the Oakland one. I already posted the Rhiannons in the Rhiannon thread and forgot to put them back in the folders so they are missing here :sorry:. But here are the shows:

Denver 10-15-82:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=f...46aced306f491b
Sound Quality: A-
Second Hand News is missing.

East Troy 10-10-82:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=f...c8251fee744035
Sound Quality: A

Hope you enjoy!

FMlex 08-31-2009 02:03 PM

Yay! Thanks so much, Gypsycat!

New listening for me :blob1:

Hawkeye 08-31-2009 02:06 PM

wow those are both new to me, Thanks!!! I only new that Baton Rougue and Memphis were out there. This means that one third of the Mirage tour was captured in pretty good quality, considering there were less then 30 Mirage Shows.

David 08-31-2009 02:19 PM

Taped from the soundboard, here's Sara from Brendan Byrne Arena (Meadowlands), East Rutherford, Sept. 14, 1982

http://www.sendspace.com/file/3tjhaf

nailatixela 08-31-2009 02:50 PM

Thanks for Denver, I didn't have that. But do you have the entire versions of SOTM and Songbird from that show? But files are only about a minute or so long.

On the count of Mirage shows - fm legacy shows the tour was made up of 32 stops. At least 23 of those shows are out there on bootlegs owned by different traders on db.etree.org. So a very large % of shows were recorded. Not all complete though, and not all great quality.

goldustsongbird 08-31-2009 04:43 PM

I have a show from 1982, San Bernardino, that I can upload later.

anixnut1970 08-31-2009 05:21 PM

thank you thank you!!!!!

goldustsongbird 08-31-2009 07:09 PM

California show, as promised. :) http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=5...01461c76699cfd

David 08-31-2009 07:12 PM

Does anyone have a really clear Detroit, Sept. 19?

fleetwoodtrick 08-31-2009 07:13 PM

I downloaded a show that is supposedly soundboard from Memphis, TN yesterday. But I have yet to unzip it! I will upload it here so that everyone can have a listen, even if I haven't yet.

[randomoutburst]GAH SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW! [/randomoutburst]

daniellaaarisen 08-31-2009 07:53 PM

I'll be going download crazy once my computer is fixed. Thanks for these!

Musicman408 08-31-2009 08:57 PM

Thank you for posting all!!!! These are exciting~~

You're all welcome, it's my pleasure to share something. And because you want me to replay to you in German: Ich habe die vollständigen Versionen von SOTM und Songbird, aber mediafire hatte wohl keine Lust sie ganz hochzuladen. Ich probier es später noch mal. I hope that wasn't too much German .
Oh, and many thanks for Sara and the San Bernadino show!

Mediafire isn't working for you and you will upload the entire versions of SOTM and songbird later? Hope I got that right.

Yep, that was really good!
But unfortunetly it's not mediafire that's not working but the songs :distress:. I can see that one is about 4 minutes long and the other about 7 minutes but it plays only a minute of both. So I'm sorry but I can't hear more than you. I don't know what's wrong with the songs. I got them from throwndown. Does anyone else here have this show? It's unlikely I'm the only one.

I had same problem naila... (and thank you so much for the tunes...)

Songbird and SOTM only spit out only a minute worth... each tune is truncated severely...

Brian, you're the Great Archivist of Fleetwood Mac these days.

There is soundboard rehearsal from both the 16th and the 19th. You probably have both already. There's also a rehearsal Sisters of the Moon that is undated.

Also available on soundboard.

Sara from this gig on soundboard.

Quote:

One of my favorite Fleetwood performances ever.

Quote:

Are you sure? I don't think so.

Quote:

Fleetwood Mac - October 13,1982 - Baton Rouge, LA Soundboard recording
All I have from Baton Rouge is Sara & Hold Me. Is the whole soundboard available? Let me jog my memory by digging out my data DVD.

Quote:

Fleetwood Mac - October 15,1982 - Denver, CO Soundboard recording
Denver is also the best-sounding soundboard of the lot.

Quote:

Fleetwood Mac - October 18,1982 - Irvine, CA - Irvine Meadows Audience recording
And the second half of the show has never surfaced. Sisters of the Moon really rocked, more than the Forum.

Quote:

Fleetwood Mac - October 20,1982 - Oakland, CA - The Coliseum - Updated! Audience recording
Also available on soundboard.

It's a well-recorded tour, that's for sure.

Ja - and I had to pull some teeth for that German to be spoken!

David, have you ever been to db.etree.org(?) They have a bunch of traders there, and you can see what Mac shows are out there from each year.

Sometimes I wonder why there doesn't seem to be many white album shows out there. That was a big tour, and it seems like we don't get a lot of stuff till Rumours came out.

I've seen that database. It's filled with so many errors that it's rendered almost useless, in my view. But I'm pretty much on top of those years I was interested in, anyway.

It's odd, I agree. 1976 is the enigma year, actually (not 1975). By the summer tour of 1976, the band was hip & happening & had lots of fans. You'd expect to have a good chunk of the summer tour taped & in circulation, but as you know, that's not the case.

Several of our 1975 shows -- like South Orange & Wake Forest -- only surfaced in recent times. They weren't in circulation twenty or twenty-five years ago. And certainly all the soundboards are post-1999. So there's always reason to hope that things will pop up at any point. I remember about four years ago when the Nagoya City 1977 recording appeared. I thought, "Where the hell has that been hiding?"

daniellaaarisen 09-03-2009 08:10 PM

So I would gladly put myself up for slave labor for the best 3 or 4 of those Mirage shows, especially the high quality audience recordings that are especially awesome and any and all soundboards....

Oh, and I must look totally dumb but would anybody be so kind and tell me what exactly soundboard is?

Only if you tell us what Niedagewesenes means!

Soundboard is just a different way that the show was recorded. It means it wasn't done by a fan in the audience, like the majority of Mac shows are recorded. Often soundboard will mean better quality of sound, but not always.

Gypsycat999 09-05-2009 12:45 PM

Niedagewesenes is something that never happened before. That's what happens to people who make other people speak German without fully understanding it themselves .

And thank you for saving me from feeling like an idiot...

Would anybody happen to have the Mirage show from Memphis- October 12, 1982? I've looked everywhere. There are a couple really old posts on here, but the links are dead.

I don't have a copy to download right now, sorry, but if you're desperate:
http://tela.sugarmegs.org/alpha/f.html

Just scroll down until you get to the Fleetwood Mac bootlegs and find the 1982 one you're looking for - I checked and it's there. Unfortunately, it's a single file for the ENTIRE show and isn't split up into tracks. Fortunately, however, at least it exists...

Here you go. Uploaded it to my Mediafire account, so that link should stick around for a while.
