If you could ask Lindsey ONE question, what would you ask?

And if he absolutely had to be honest:

Lindsey, what exactly did you mean when you said Christine McVie "burned her bridges" upon leaving Fleetwood Mac?

That's funny because I would ask him about Christine too. I guess I would ask if he was hurt when she didn't come back for SYW. I don't know if he could answer honestly, because I don't know if he's ever really admitted to himself, "That made me feel bad." But I think it did.

I would ask him this:

Can we please have a hot and intense romantic love affair (no one will have to know, except everyone on The Ledge...it might be good for your solo career, as well).

daniellaaarisen 08-17-2009 02:36 AM

Wanna come back to my hotel room? Marissa's part of the deal.

Yum.

carrie721 08-17-2009 03:19 AM

i want to know what it was like for him to fight the balrog.

plus,

What exactly do you mean by the spectre of Stevie?
and...
If you could go back in time to 1970...and live your life all over again, would you?

FMlex 08-17-2009 10:34 AM

Let's go back to 1975: Will you please take anger management classes so that I can marry you and not have to worry about you having more mood swings than me? Kay thanks!

Imagine Lindsey cooing into a microphone on the tile floor of his bathroom, turning around & seeing the other Fleetwood Macsters watching him alarmedly, & gasping, "FLY! YOU FOOLS!"

Lindsey says that every chance he gets. When he has bothered to elaborate, he says he means she sold her house, got a divorce and left the United States.

There is no indication that he means "burned her bridges" in the sense that she did something irrevocable that would make her return to FM unwelcome. However, each time he says it, that's the implication.

One question that I asked on his website and that I would love to have an answer for is:

What traits of yours did each of your kids inherit and when they exhibit those traits, does it drive you crazy?

Hmmm, Strange one.

I always got the sense they got on quite well.

I'll cover us with my follow-up question-- can we please not tell Stevie about this?

Us. :xoxo:

As always, you follow through.

Another sign that we've got this in the bag.

I would ask him something about Christine too!! I've always wondered why it appears that he's sometimes looking at her and she's looking at him when they are singing on stage. Being the shipper that I am, I always assume he's looking at Stevie...but there have been certain videos where, if you look closely, it looks as though he's looking at Christine. One example being Bleed to Love Her from The Dance. At first, it looks like he's looking at Stevie...but then after the first bit of the song is over, Stevie goes off in her own little world dancing around on stage and Lindsey is still turned looking towards his right...and unless its a trick of the camera, he's looking at Christine and she's looking at him. So, I would want to ask him what was up with that...if it wasn't weird camera angles, how exactly would he describe what goes on between them onstage??

Dodfather 08-18-2009 05:08 AM

My question would be a simple 'do you weanna go for a beer'? Take it from there...

The players in a rock band usually look at one another -- it's both a tic & a logistical necessity.

Whenever, Lindsey was standing back from his mic, he was looking over at Christine. I guess it's just a way of communicating as musicians. I found it extremely endearing.

Actually, one of the nicest things about the Dance dvd is the way they were all staring at each other, in general.

Thanks you guys...all of that makes sense. I just know that when I watch it, those glances seem so meaningful...I'm always left wondering if it may speak of a particular musical connection the two had that, as much as I hate to say it, didn't really include anyone else in the group. It is very possible that I'm reading way too much into it! :p

GoldDustOrphan 08-18-2009 02:18 PM

"Did you ever purposefully sabotage any of Stevie's songs with poor arrangements or production elements?"

"In regard to prior allegations, did you ever hit or kick Stevie?"

Cornflake Girl 08-18-2009 03:12 PM

Do you own a Members Only jacket?

I would also add that although during his solo tours Lindsey does look at Brett, touch Brett and hug him, he doesn't stare and smile at Brett for loooong segments of songs the way he routinely did with Christine.

or the Say You Will version of Smile at You. The production equivalent of a punch in the face. Welcome to the Room, Sara was definitely a backhanded slap.

I think Smile at You came out great.

I do agree about Welcome To The Room, though. Also, see: Straight Back.

That's a horrible question and you'd probably get a very, very angry response!

There's no accounting for tastes.

I think it stinks. Strip the vocals, even, & it stinks. Put the vocals back in, & it doubly stinks.

Oh, man that's one of my favorites! And I think I'm the only one in the world!

The song that does not please me at all (even worse than "Smile At You") is "Not Make Believe". I can't listen to it.

The same question I would ask Warren Beatty.
