What in the world is going on here?

She is SO out of it here!!!!
(Pretty much all of the mid-to-late '80's were a disaster!)

i don't have one ready here right now to post, but you guys know the pics, some were w/ her blue lamp & she has a black long straight wig on~ i loathe that hair~

Well, I just happen to love me some Street Angel-era Stevie hair! It really was the last hurrah before settling into the current boring bang/layer thing. I would so love if she shows up in Europe in October with the poodle-fro again! :thumbsup:

hahaha...I'm not overly bothered by most of her hair styles in this thread...though there are a couple that I don't really think were that great of an idea. I actually like the Street Angel hair (though I did have to take a bit of time to get used to it.) I have to say though, the long black wig is freaking me the f*** out...I mean, really...what was that all about??? :p

I've actually always really liked her Street Angel hair... it was definitely witchy/bohemian, which is what Stevie is.

Ha, well I watched that part of the clip once more once I saw you commented on it and then I somehow had the first part of that memorized.... when I got stuck halfway through, I watched it one more time and paid close attention to the second half. Not too miraculous, I don't think ;)

I have never actually laughed out loud at a picture until I saw that one pic of Stevie with her eyes closed. Can you say bad hair day. OMG, it looks like a blonde version of Robert Smith's hairdo. Thanks so much! I needed that!!!

I nominate the "Big Love" video hair as one of her worst looks ever as well :-)

When it came around to the "Rock A Little" through the "Tango In The Night Days", her hair was totally out of control and I really didn't like it all that much. Yeah, it was the 80's, but that hair actually looked better on the girls from Heart than on Stevie. I thought that Christine's hair was much prettier in the 80's than Stevie's was. Christine, had very pretty hair. Then when "OSOTM" through "Street Angel" came around, the clothes just got bigger. She didn't grow just the clothes did, and I thought that what she was wearing made her look big. I always had a hard time seeing the shape of her body because she was buried under so much clothing. Especially during "Timespace" and "OSOTM". Puffy sleeves!

What makes this shot so great is this is (as far as I know) the ONLY time Stevie has ever removed the mic from the stand while on stage. In Pittsburg on the Street Angel tour.

Well, I guess that was the point. The puffy garments disguised the puffy body. I agree, the big hair worked on Lita Ford or the Heart girls of any of the hair-metal boys, but was getting dated by the time Stevie amped it up with such fury in the post-1987 period. I think it looked cool in the ICW video. I think it looked yuck on the Red Rocks video sleave.

It's my understanding that she did it the whole tour during Edge of Seventeen.

Maybe that's where Larry David got the puffy shirt idea from.

She did this -- of necessity -- in Costa Mesa in 1986. The mic stand busted & had to be fixed by a techie during the song (I think it was RHIANNON).

She did it in Phoenix too during Edge of 17.

I agree that the pic with Stevie and the black hair is absolutley the worst pic of Stevie!!! She doesn't fit into black hair...
