Missing Stevie Music Videos

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if people knew if videos had been made for the following singles and if so where I could see them?

Two Kinds Of Love, Long Way To Go and Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind. I know these were singles but did Stevie make videos for them?

Was Two Kinds Of Love/Long Way To Go being a double A side but I could be wrong. Which one, of any, has a video?

I was trying to think if I'd seen all her solo videos and since I'm guessing she didnt make ones for the Bella Donna tracks those 3 are the only ones I can think of that were from the era of videos (she made ones for Rooms on Fire and Blue Denim after all).

Can anyone help? I''d love to see them!

Al.

She didn't make video's for those singles. Supposedly she filmed a video for Unconditional Love, pre- Klonopin rehab, but it got scrapped.

Yes a video for Unconditional Love was filmed in late 1993 but never issued. In April 1998, a clip was also shot for Reconsider Me but alas, this also has never surfaced.

I seem to remember a tiny blurb in an old music paper ('Music Maker?') in 1988 that said FM was filming a vid for 'No Questions Asked'.
I wonder if this is in the vault somewhere, or if Stevie got sick and the filming never happened.

Really? I have never seen anything of this. I suppose it´s nowhere on the interner. Or can someone share it? I´d really like to see it:). That must be very interesting, video from 1988 (No Question Asked) and 1993 (Unconditional Love).

Here are some pics from the set of the Unconditional Love video, I doubt the footage will ever pop up.
Probably a good thing it never saw the light of day.

^^^^^^ I Really Like afew of those pics. I'd always thought that was from the video for "ALICE" (which also never surfaced) Although there were afew clips from the alice video that made it into that one interview.

These look like they could be shots from the soap Dark Shadows. http://www.imeem.com/mega4ever/music...shadows-theme/
:D
I love the girl in her that always wants to play dress up. I can relate to that.

Alright, it´s not the best time of Stevie´s life, but still it is! And I think we, fans of Stevie, could know and chance to see that.

She made two videos for the Bella Donna singles, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" (obviously) as well as one for "Edge Of Seventeen" which is NOT the one on the Crystal Visions DVD. There actually two for "Edge" both featured Stevie, Lori and Sharon standing at the mic singing, but one used clips of Stevie walking along the beach and being shaken senseless by her brother. Clips from this video are seen in the "Sometimes It's A Bitch" video. The clip of Stevie in a yellow gold dress doing a slow spin (and her image is being mirrored) is from the "Edge" video. This is the video I was hoping would be on Crystal Visions.
By the way, "Two Kinds Of Love" and "Long Way To Go" was not a double a-side single. "Real Tears" backed "Two Kinds Of Love". "Real Tears" also backed "Long Way To Go" which was an import only single. The third single from "Other Side Of The Mirror" was "Whole Lotta Trouble" and "Ghosts" was the b-side of that. WLT has a video.

Did she film something for "Alice" that was the b-side to "Rooms On Fire" so it seems kind of odd that she would make a video for something that wouldn't be a single.
I would love to see the video for "Unconditional Love", I'd seen those pictures before but never knew what they were from. She looks better there than in the "Blue Denim" video. Great song, horrible video.

Unless it was originally intended as a single.
That "Alice"-footage, is that what they used for the piano version of "Doing The best I Can" of her in the white dress and standing between the pillars?

And she's holding a doll. And she drops the doll, right? And the dolls little china head shatters into a million bits? And it starts out with her at her notebook, reciting "and the days go by, like a strand in the wind..."
Oh, and she's on the beach in a long dress. It was so cheap looking, I'm glad they never moved forward with it. Even the performance one was sort of garish, such yucky lighting back then.

Ah, the wonderful things you learn on the ledge. I never knew where these pics were from, I thought they were from a scrapped photo shoot for Street Angel. These pics certaintly catch this era of Stevie's life perfectly, though it may not be something she particularly wants to remember. I do love the white, the huge hair and the candles. It's amost a parody of herself, it's so over the top. I'd love to see this video. Was Unconditional Love perhaps going to be a single early on, since a video was made? I seem to remember reading something to that effect a while ago.

I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a single. It was the B side to Maybe Love.

The b-side to Maybe Love was Inspiration, a non album track, which I thought was better than Maybe Love.

thanks so much for posting these pics!!!

I'd never heard of a video for UL so thats interesting. I thought those outtake photos where from the photo shoot for SA the cover. There were 2 different LPcover photos too from that session with graphics for SA on it taken from this photo shoot. Someone was selling them on ebay 2 or 3 yrs ago I think....does anyone else know?? I'd always 'heard' there was a video done for 'Nightbird' too and not the SG or SNL versions either?? Its listed in that book ....Everything you Ever Wanted To Know About Stevie Nicks..." its listed as a promo video? I don't mind the Edge video....I love her dress in it and the small video from the RS cover shot in it too. I wish that also had been on the CV dvd set too. A LWTG video would've rocked totally.....I've never heard of an Alice video either.....interesting.....all the 'stuff' we hear about huh!! :D

I think the Alice video was done in England during one of the OSOTM video interviews? We only have part of it on tape.

I believe Unconditional Love was originally intended to be the lead single from SA (before she remixed the whole album). I have a radio promo clip from the record label from 1993 that plays UL as the only track in the background while they talk about Stevie's new album. The album then didn't come out for another year and a half after she had her fit over Glyn Johns and remixed the whole thing.
