Stevie Storytellers Vids Back Up (Plus Some!)

Hey all ~ I re-posted the Storytellers clips. I had taken them down because I wanted to tweak with them a little, and Eric and I were able to get the sound and visual a little clearer (especially on Rose Garden/Sleeping Angel). I also uploaded the record label’s EPKs (Electronic Press Kit) for the “Enchanted” box set and “Trouble In Shangri-La” CD.

Eric and I also tried to “remaster” some previously available clips that have been afloat on the internet for years. I decided to take my old VHS copies and transfer them to files and tweak them a little for better quality. We did the best we could with those, but some VHSs were so old, that the results weren't always pristine (i.e. the Arsenio vids). I hope you enjoy those as well! Here’s what we worked on. Enjoy and tell all your fellow Stevie lovers!!

Thanks for posting these--I've never seen most of them. Does anyone else think Stevie looks kind of weird in the Arsenio Hall clips? I've never seen her hair like that--it has to be a wig, right?

let's hope they're not all deleted soon in the Warner vs. Youtube battle

The TISL EPK is awesome. I have an official Beta videotape of this but have never been able to play it. Now I finally see what's on it! Thanks ;D

I think she looks fantastically healthy. She's Big Mama, but unlike so many other Big Mama periods, she's comfortable in that body of hers, moving it around the stage with elan.

Your info tag also says, " It wasn't too long after this that she pulled herself out of the mire to resurrect her career. "

I'd kill to have that 1994 look, that 1994 movement, & most especially that gorgeous 1994 voice back again today. I'd even go to a Fleetwood Mac concert to see it up close.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

THANKS TO THE PERSON WHO POSTED THESE!!!!!
I like that performance too. AND i wanna point out that she's wearing gloves in that to those who "ALL OF A SUDDEN" cant figure out why stevie is wearing gloves in the last two years. Anyway, I know this has been discussed to death, but that was the stevie from the two voices tour with don, and from the tom petty shows, and the soundstage performance, and my own personal favorite the new its late from the chris issak show. She seems just fine and dandy with all that. I think it is Fleetwood Mac that she has finally had enough of. She needs to go and do her own thing. Cause in this performance with mr. issak, shes EVERY BIT as into it as she was singin g blue dennim in that other vid YEARS ago.

LOVE that 'Blue Denim' clip, always have. Gives me a strange feeling because that's what Stevie looked like when I first "discovered" her. Her voice is fantastic, and a great song (sung with passion). Great band, too! Yes, this was when she was heavier, but she looks beautiful, and her clothes were very cleverly designed with the long fringe in front to help hide any "details" she may have been self-conscious about. Don't know if that's the exact same gorgeous shawl from the In Concert video....if not, it's a nice replica and I love the midnight blue and black together. And I'm in the minority as a lover of the "Street Angel hair". I love big hair (of this type.....not the hairspray wall-o'-bangs variety).

Well I'm resurfacing an old topic, but since this is related to Storytellers I thought I'd put it in here.

Anywho, here's "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" from Storytellers!

"Poet... priest of nothing..."

Storytellers was cool because Benmont was Stevie's pianist. First time ever, I guess. I wonder why he wanted to do it.

dimndsnkblksky 07-05-2009 11:31 PM

Thank you for the Storyteller vids!
I want to see this episode in it's entirety...for now I have to go on the video snapshots I can find! This was a great find!

daniellaaarisen 07-06-2009 01:14 AM

Is it just me, or does "Space Needle" fit BEAUTIFULLY into the "Trouble in Shangri-La" theme? Maybe one day...

vivfox 07-06-2009 01:37 AM

Wow! Thank you! A lot of great videos you have made and/or provided. I love the Hold Me outtakes.

daniellaaarisen 07-06-2009 01:46 AM

On a further note:

The Storytellers are awesome. So much thanks!

I absolutely love the TISL EPK. It kinda just.... defines what Stevie is to me, as lame as that sounds. I love that lady.
