|

|
I got my tix sunday, i knnnnew this would sell out! If ya look for me, im wearing a trendy 3 piece suit, skull t shirt underneath, and my silver "stevie-like" necklace! haha....I have no clue what my friend Kendra will be wearing tho, but I told her to dress the part, and she knows!
|
I went. I'm drunk. Got video and a few pics. Touched her. yada yada....have a pic with her but the flash was off so it's mega blurry and it sucks but oh well. :p

I was so excited to see Stevie. And she seemed delightful. And I passed my article along to security who, presumably, handed it to Karen or Stevie. So I'm happy for that. That's what I went to accomplish.
I was hoping to get my groove on too, but, surprisingly, people didn't seem that "into" the music. And I felt bad that when Stevie left (like 30 minutes after she arrived), half the place had emptied already. |
Wow....that bartender must have liked me, cause that vodka hit me QUICK! My friend and i hung around like 30 mins after stevie left, but yahhh it seemed to empty out. I got a few good shots, but my flash setting was on a bad one, so blurry for me too. on her way out, she reached out and gave me a double hand slap...that was cool! ;)

wow. stevie and free vodka is a deadly combo for me. Still great fun last night...although i felt a little stalkerish overall. but the crowd was attractive and fun and stevie and liz seemed to have a nice time.
i just got this email this morning... looks like Stevie Week in NYC has one more event before it's over: Thank you all so much for coming out last night to support LIFEbeat. I hope that you had as much fun as we did. Just in case you don't have the CD or DVD yet, tonight we also have a special Stevie Nicks edition of our weekly 1984 party at Pyramid Club. We've got a bunch of CDs and DVDs to give away courtesy of Warner Bros (including a special sampler CD that is sure to be a collectors item!). Stevie will NOT be there tonight, but it is a way to extend this week of Stevie-Mania in NYC by just one more day. We've also got a few more events coming up that you might want to join us for -- so read on: 1984 (Pyramid Club, 101 Avenue A at 6th Street) 1984 is celebrating the release of STEVIE NICKS' first solo DVD in 13 years -- plus a companion CD --- as The Soundstage Sessions and Live in Chicago comes out this week from Warner Brothers. On the dance floor, DJ CHIP DUCKETT spins all your favorites by CYNDI LAUPER, MADONNA, WHITNEY HOUSTON, WHAM, CULTURE CLUB, POINTER SISTERS, PRINCE, BANANARAMA and more. $8 cover. 21 and over only. $2 Rolling Rock & $4 vodka drinks until midnight. Dancing until 4am. Derek |

You know after all the discussion this week about how her boots kill her feet and all, I think this would be a GREAT look for her even in her concerts. It still fits her "persona" but seems much more comfortable, and something she could move around in much better.. I know it will never happen..but one can dream, mama looks HOT here!

Great pictures. Stevie is still overpoweringly gorgeous and luminously healthy-looking. Thank you for sharing these shots.

This is an excerpt from HX magazine, an article titled "Stalking Stevie Nicks," April 7. 2009:
http://hx.com/web/9312 Of course, we’re only human, and our late night put a damper on our big plans to hit up Barnes and Noble in Union Square on Tuesday evening for Stevie Nicks’ first in-store signing in years. We took one look at that endless line of devotees decked out in gypsy shawls for the Stevie look-alike contest and high-tailed it home to nurse our epic hangover. Wednesday night we kicked back in Greenhouse’s basement lounge where James Coppola was celebrating his first week as the club’s newest hump day host. The venue may have changed, but there was still a seemingly endless amount of vodka at Coppola’s table—which also happened to be the most crowded table in the club! Seen: fulltimefriend.com’s Libby Broocks, birthday boy JonJon Battles, Corey TuT, Adam Klesh, Jeff Wrestleboy Chatterton, Peter Matteliano, Hunter Thompson, Jackie Bird and Hera C. We were back at Greenhouse again on Thursday night for LIFEbeat’s Stevie Nicks listening party—a.k.a. our second opportunity to stalk the Fleetwood Mac singer. Ms. Nicks was the guest of honor at this HIV/AIDS fundraiser sponsored by Chip Duckett and SpinCycle. New York notables like Semi Precious Weapons frontman Justin Tranter, DJ Drew G, Celso and Michael Musto were on hand to toast Stevie and get a special preview of her new live album The Soundstage Sessions. We had to kiss-kiss the Gold Dust Woman goodbye and head over to Goldbar for James Coppola’s second premiere of the week. The uber exclusive club’s velvet rope fell away before Team Coppola as DJ Lily of the Valley turned out a fierce indie/electro set. |
Here's the NYPress write-up.
What trash: Now, I bet everyone will be wondering which pile they fit in: Quote:
