It sounds like the only reason that Stevie is touring is because she's bored with her solo work. At least that what is says at the very end :confused:

wow this is interesting to say the least. ha! i just cant picture the look on kristen's face when the interviewer is asking them some of those questions. i can only imagine how the pictures she was taking turned out, LOL!

Interesting to see Stevie is still shacking up in her big southern style mansion in the Palisades... I thought she was downsizing to a condo on the beach?? :p

Also, the comment she made at the end confirmed something I've felt from the beginning: they won't be coming straight off this tour and into the studio. It'll take a few years before they want to do that last Mac album. Always a waiting game... :rolleyes:

She bought her Stepford house at the top of the bubble, so it's probably languishing on the market right now. I'm sure after this tour is over that she will have enough of a down payment for that condo too.

I also suspect that we aren't going to see anything new from FM anytime sooner, if not ever. I think Lindsey is denial... he just wants to assuage his guilt over participating in this money-grubbing oldies tour.

I wish they didn't discount the bus so easily.

If it would keep a key cog in the machine, it would have been worth it. For the product and the gate receipts.

i so agree with you and a lot of bands use buses and most of them are pretty damm amazing as well. its almost like having your own house but of course that means all 4 or 5 of them would be together at all times so they probably would have killed each other by now.

ah, FINALLY some true honesty from Stevie. We've all known it for some time but it's nice to hear her admit to it. Thank you, Stevie.

Except I think, the way they've been talking, that an album and another short tour is part of THIS jaunt. I think it's being discussed as one, extended thing, rather than this tour -- break -- then album/tour. I see it as this little session all being a single entity tour/album/tour and THEN break.

When Stevie moved before she said it was because she needed privacy and she didn't want everyone seeing who was going in and out (?), so I didn't think she was downsizing necessarily. Just getting into a different type of community.

I like Stevie's hair in this interview, but then when she goes onstage she irons it or something. Why? She be dingaling?

"Monday Morning" sounds pretty good on the video -- maybe there will be a radio simulcast this tour, & we can get great sound on songs like "Monday Morning," "Tusk," & "Go Insane."

She said the Klonopin damaged her hair. Maybe it takes more heat for her to make it nice and curly all the time than to just keep it straight. Less heat, less damage. You don't want her hair to fall out do you? You don't want her to look like Mick. That's not even sexy to Lynn.

did i read the article correctly in that they were at stevie's house doing the interview and kristen was there as well snapping pictures? hmm how odd would that have been? i can see l & k walking through the front door and stevie being like who the hell said she could come, LOL!

She was snapping photos six feet away. You know, even in concert, if you use a flash, Stevie will look at you. So imagine Kristen popping a flash right in Stevie's eyes at strategic points in the interview. Too funny.

I love what she says about Christine. Of al the remaining band members, Stevie is the one who gives the band's first firstlady her due.

Nicks: Christine would rather be skinned alive and fed to the sharks. She doesn't want to do it anymore. It's kind of like when someone breaks up with you and you see that look on their face like, "It's really over?" For Christine, it's really over.

She doesn't want to fly. She never told us she used to get panic attacks, because she's so brave. And if you don't fly, that means the bus. So that was it for her. We cannot replace Chris.

ha ha now that is good stuff. i would love to see the reaction on kristen's face when stevie said the audience is like are they getting back together?! HA!

So: CNN, ET, Access Hollywood, etc., etc....were ALL assembled at Stevie's colonial house in Pacific Palisades (which she sold to move into a Santa Monica rock and roll penthouse and which in the very same segment of interviews - specifically the one with Canadian ET she herself said she lived in Santa Monica)... and Lindsey's wife was there taking pictures of the event?! LOL.

Although, that is something I would love to see pictures of...

I'm saying BS on this one. Stevie Nicks is as grand on her solo tours as she is with FM. She's lived the high life ALL her life. A spoiled little rich kid she is! I still love her, and her charm, and the beautiful music she makes. And I know she's going to dedicate a lot more to her solo career than she will to FM the last few decades of her life. I just know it! Once a princess, always a princess! DIVA! :thumbsup:
