Yeah, I think that intro/outro was great. I have the video cassette of this performance, as well as the soundcheck. I believe this was the first time she ever performed the song live. It wasn't until the Enchanted tour (?) that she added it to her set list. But I don't think she included that particular intro/outro.

I've always wondered where this little gem was from.

LOL, Stevie's nose looks messed up. Atfirst I thought it was bleeding, but then I noticed that her arm and mouth had the same problem. Must be the camera or the film age. Either that or Stevie's a messy chocolate eater! ;)

I think this Boston concert was the fourth time she did TWISTED in public.

My friend Ryan and I were at this show, right up front. It was a free concert on Boston Common. We waited all day and it was worth it, obviously.
Jann Arden and Amanda Marshall opened for her. I can't remember who else performed, but Stevie was the headliner.

Great show! I have this version and another shot from further back on VHS. On the second version you can see a professional camera mounted on an arm that appears to be filming the show. Too bad that PRO shot copy has never surfaced!

Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles was one of the other performers.

I was there also...one of my top ten Stevie concerts...for many reasons.

I remember hearing Twisted from this boot and she said it was the first time they ever (really) played it for anyone. I guess the AHI benefit didn't count in her mind. :rolleyes:

Mine too, except Stevie seemed pale as a ghost to me. Plus, she smoked like a chimney during soundcheck and I was fascinated watching her for some reason. :lol: I dragged my husband up to Boston from Jersey and made him wait all day long for Stevie.

Jessica was there and running around sidestage. She was just too cute, with reddish curls. I think that was the last time I saw Lori sing with Stevie until Vegas.

this concert has the best Stand Back spin ever. I transferred my VHS to DVD so I wouldn't wear out the VHS.

I've seen this concert many times, but I just now realized that this appears to be the beginning of Stevie's 'in ear monitor' problems. I didn't get to see the Street Angel Tour, but from the photos and videos I have seen she did not appear to be using the 'in ear monitor' yet. It's hard to tell because this video is shot mostly on just her face but you can see her messing with the volume a couple of times.

My question is...since they still put the regular stage monitors up there for her, then why doesn't she just ditch the in ear thing? On the current tour, Stevie has no less than 4 monitors at her feet. If she has so many problems with this gadget, why not just toss it and stick with the stage monitors? :shrug:

at least 2 of those monitors are auto-prompters.

What is an Auto Prompter?

OKAY so I wasnt sure if anyone asked me on here about what she said at the beginning of Twisted when the stage hand was putting her mic up....
"You didn't plan on me wearing these high boots, did you? That's why I'm so tall"

Basically a teleprompter- in this case, scrolling the lyrics during the song.
