Pgh Show - Audio - ARTWORK?
 

hello all

new to the list. i taped the Pgh show and i'll have it ready for upload to DIME prob on Friday.

is anyone interested in doing the artwork for it? something basic or whatever. i'm open to anything. its a good show, sample is attached but its only 4 sec since that is all i can fit in a 100kb file which is my limit...seems LOW.

title i was thinking of is "Unleashed in Steeltown", unless someone has a better one.....

Something with a 'Storms' reference since it was the first appearance. Like Storms A-Brewin'.

I could probably do a cover for it tomorrow night... Here's a look at some of the others I've done. There dvd's but you get the picture.

yes, you can work on the cover, that would be cool. your DVD covers look great. i have an info file put together, once i get the show back, i'll finish that and send it over to you so you can clean up the artwork (titles, songlist, disc break, etc). if you want to assume the song break is NGBA to start disc 2, do that and i'll get you the final info, hopefully tomorrow, the show is coming from IL area so it might take two days to get here. i don't know where he split the show nor the times for the songs.

if anyone has title suggestions, please fire away....i'm horrible at titles... :)

I got the show today. unfortunately, i worked til 10:30 2nite and just getting thru it now, i like to listen to all my shows i get back incase there are errors, which happen but very rarely.

its after midnight now, i will NOT get this up tonight but there is a good chance i might get it up tomorrow morning but most likely it will be after work tomorrow, which might be a short day for me since i'm burned out this week...mid afternoon is looking good. :)

this is nearly my best recording......i'm glad i got my new mics in time. wow.

here is the info file that will go up to DIME, the track times are correct. i prob won't have the artwork done but when it is, we can post here or to DIME in the threads. not sure if the fellow is doing it or not but i'm sure someone will do something.....if anyone sees anything wrong with the info, please advise. thanks.

Macman....you are one of the most dutiful people I know. It's Friday afternoon and you took some time off to work on the artwork covers.

No wonder you got that photo of Stevie puckering up in your avatar...she's kissing you! She's doing it for all of us, to show what a swell guy you are! ;)

Oh and one more...thanks for helping that high school kid out on his talent show. I guess he's up against some mean bagpipe player...

ok so i am dumb and cant figure out what to do here. so once i download the show how do i play it?

When the download is complete they will be flac files. You can play these with a vlc media player (free download - search vlc) but if you want to record to a cd you need to convert the flac files to .wav files (it takes just a few minutes). There are plenty of different free programs to convert flac files (flac frontend, traders little helper - again google search) Good luck.

Thanks, you're totally awesome! I've been meaning to burn some .flac shows so that I can delete them from my computer. (They're taking up all of my hardrive. :(((() :) I'm converting them now!

Can someone post MP3s of the show? (For those of us who are terrorized by torrants?:shocked:

Ninjadave stated in the album info thinger (lol!) that he didn't want the show distributed in .mp3. But I can try and upload the .wav files to Mediafire. It will take a very long time to upload, however!
