I bet they were better (and more lively) tonight than the last two shows combined. FM noticeably turns it up for the bigger markets... especially when they desperately need to sell tickets for the unnecessary second show in said market.

It's just a little Canon PowerShot digital camera...I think the trick is being as close to them as possible! ;)

Thank you for sharing these spectacular pictures! I too love the last pic of the gloriously beautiful and alluring Stevie, especially. Perhaps unlike the last two concerts, she seemed to be enjoying herself on stage in Chicago, which I like to see. Lindsey looked his usual dynamic, energetic self, the fireballing stage-stealing genius that he is prone to be. I eagerly look forward to seeing your next offering. Thanks again.

Does Lindsey sing with Stevie on Storms? I think I hear his voice in there. I hear a different sound than when it is just Stevie and backup singers.

I think he adds a lot to the vocal and blends the sound better.

I just kinda made it randomly yesterday playing around with pictures and I just came up w/ that. I'm glad so many people like it :)

Absolutely without a shadow of a doubt, the best shes sounded so far. Every note was pitch perfect bar one or two at the end. But that ending harmony was just gorgeus. And I'm also starting to think that this "more withdrawn delicate sound" people are wanting to hear just isnt gonna happen. Her voice is 60 years old, if she tried the sweet and light texture, I'd imagine only a whisper would come out, and not an in-tune whisper either. Rock on ancient queen! ..Bah! Who says she's past it? ;)

Lovely as usual Alicia! I'm so afraid (ha ha) to use a flash! Stevie gave me one of her death stares back in 2003 when I did that, and I'm on her side tonight.

That was beautiful. She was just nervous the first nite :shrug: She's really going to grow into that song and it's just going to keep getting better and better as the tour progress's. Thanks to whom ever shot that video :thumbsup: The only thing missing was a shot of Lindsey. I know, I know, how dare I be picky :laugh:

Stevie's gloves are HOT

Just add the GYOW tophat and she has transformed into Boy George.

So, it's decided: WE LOVE STEVIE'S GLOVES! YAY! LOL I cannot wait to see the top hat. It get so excited when she is excited. Like our Biker Gal said earlier, "She is going to grow into the song." For reals!

Wow - that Storms is SO much better than the opening night performance. Really nice. Much more restrained, more vocal inflections. Very pretty.

I have come to accept that this is the way she wants to sing it now. Who am I to say how it should be done? However, I do think she could do it "soft & whispery" if she wanted to. Say Goodbye anyone? Hell, even Goodbye Baby. "I've Loved & I've Lost" from last night's Isaak show certainly weren't belted out & they were in tune & clear as a bell.

So, sorry for the crappy video quality... but I think the sound is pretty decent (esp for a camera phone).. downloading regular cam pix now..

LOL!!! You know...that's SO true! I go through a lot of anxiety before the show regarding photography, videotaping, positioning, etc. :laugh: It's my part-time job!!!

I've been waiting for a full version of this. It's great, but is Lindsey emoting just a little too much on his verse? Did he think it was a dramatic audition? She's got Bette Davis eyes, so is he trying for Bette's acting skills?

That works better when he's singing with someone than it does when he's carrying a verse.
