Lindsey on Conan - "Shut Us Down"
Has anyone got the Conan performance of "Shut Us Down" that they're willing to fork over for me? I am desperately in love with that performance, but it was taken off of the YouTube a while back and I can't seem to find it.
I'd totally appreciate it! :D |
It's 195 MB.!!!!
Type in the 3-letter code in the top-middle of your screen and click download. www.megaupload.com/nl/?d=KNNTI1ET (MPEG) same actions, 6.5 MB: www.megaupload.com/?d=LPPH28Y2 (MP3) enjoy! gerald |
That song on ELLEN was amazing! I have it on my myspace and it's my favorite.
|
THANK YOU!!!! You are my hero. :D
And I like the Ellen performance, too, but the Conan one is just Lindsey & his guitar, and so beautiful. |
weird, the counter of my filemanager still says 0 downloads on both files?
nobody's interested? |
I'll pick it up later, thanks. I had it on my computer but it got accidentally deleted when moving files about. So did the Ellen performance and that's such a great arrangement. Anyone have that version that they could post, please?

¡Muchas Gracias! :xoxo: |
Thanks for this!

I'm also surprised, because I grabbed both files (twice on the video because I messed up the first one) about 10 minutes after you posted this, lol.
|
Well, it's clear that I can't trust my filemanager. it still says 0 dlds.
Whaever. If YOU are happy, I am happy. |
The downloader must be off. I've downloaded it as well - and indeed, it did make me happy! Although I wish he would've chosen a song that strained his voice less. People who aren't used to Lindsey's ways will simply believe he doesn't have a strong voice anymore.

Then, I heard him sing very beautifully during his solo shows and I saw that the whisper croaking was all an illusion. I felt rejuvenated. My faith was reaffirmed. Michele |
Honestly, Michele, I felt the same way. I know he was going for "raw" with UTS but you expect an artist to put his best foot forward, and so when you hear him missing notes or his voice breaking, you assume that despite the flaws, that was the BEST take... and you think he must be losing it.
|
His voice might croak or notes might be missed but who's to say that's not the best take? He might have takes where he hits all the notes but maybe that doesn't best convey what he was going for with it and so aren't the best.
|
Hello Peestie: You make a good point. However, logic would dictate that wrong notes & a croaking voice would be more likely to achieve a negative effect. Their conclusion makes sense, in that light. Best wishes, Madelow.
