Herbie's 2009 Stevie Calendar

Is now up for sale:
http://www.hwworthington.com/index.html

I do like the cover shot, it's expensive though.

trackaghost 12-20-2008 02:11 PM

Cool. Thanks for the heads up! :)

GypsyGirl15 12-20-2008 05:36 PM

Awesome. I wondered whether there would be a calendar for 2009 ... What kind of photos are usually included in those calendars? Are there some "recent" ones ( well, 80s or 90s maybe) included as well or only vintage ones?

Musicman408 12-20-2008 11:34 PM

I was wondering if there would be a new one. It looks awesome, and I loved mine from this past year. It's definitely something to look into. Thanks for the heads up!!

wildheart048 12-21-2008 06:40 AM

The first one had some SA-era pics but the second one had only vintage pics up to RAL, I think it's the same with this new one.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to get one though.

BellaDonna93 12-21-2008 12:27 PM

I had it on my christmas list. but I never thought it would be released...but now, I'm hoping to get it! Maybe on my birthday, at least. In January!

MacMan 12-21-2008 12:58 PM

I like the cover shot.

Steviefan49 12-22-2008 06:41 PM

It's AWESOME, and can't wait to get mine, as I ordered it a couple of days ago! Herbie told me that he's putting a couple of pictures in, one of Stevie playing the piano, and another one of her playing the guitar! The pictures, he promised me- are very rare and amazing, and he said he felt, for those of you unsure about buying it, that it's his best one yet!

Hugs,

Arlene

Well, the calendar seems to be nice but I will pass on it for this time. I've sent a request to Mr. Worthington for shipping costs to Germany. They asked me to pay $ 22.80 for shipping, the total was $ 52.75! Sorry but I think that's a bit too much....

Hey Melanie..

Awwww.. that's a shame, as I do know shipping from the States to Europe is outrageous. We just sent my boyfriend's Parent's Christmas package off, to England, from Texas, and it cost a small fortune! I'm not even sure how much the package weighs, but if it's more that a pound, it's a arm and a leg.. It sucks.. Sorry girlfriend..

Hugs and love,

Arlene

That would be about 40€. Wow. ... I was thinking about getting the calendar, but I think I'd rather save my money for a FM concert ticket.

Yah, I know that big letters, packages are quite expensive when shipped from the US to European countries. But I was shocked as I got the answer. I never expected that much. So as Maggie said, I rather save the money for a FM concert ticket....

GypsyGirl15 12-22-2008 07:02 PM

I might just do a Stevie calendar myself. We have photo paper and there are so many photos of her and FM on my computer and I got to use them for something.

I know I thought that too but I paid up, I just knew I'd miss having my Stevie calendar next year. It's a ridiculous amount of money for a calendar though.

Well, I was fighting back and forth if I should buy it or not. I've already the other three calendars of Stevie that ever came out but this time I really have to save my money. I'm sure that this calendar is nice and does have some great pictures but I'm now in a position where I can say no to something and don't really need it that bad. I'm just saying that there are things that are more important as having a calendar.....

I would love to see that! I do create all my stuff as Christmas cards, birthday cards, scrapbooks on my own...so I'm always interested to see what ideas others might have. It's always an inspiration....

Oh no, I completely understand that! I admire you for resisting. I'm sure the pictures from the calendar will probably be posted online anyway, they usually are.

Yeah, but there's still nothing like OWNING it yourself, and framing the pics! His pictures are definitely worth it to me! And I'm SOOOO glad I got it! I've also purchased all of his other ones, and can't wait to get this one too!:)

The RUMOURS front & back cover was excellent, iconic, & the sleeve shots were good, too.

But he should have quit after the BELLA DONNA cover.

Doing great! Im also hoping he mails it fast! I also got my last few pretty quickly.. so hoping to get this one pretty quickly too.. Can't wait..

Villavic 12-30-2008 08:03 PM

Frankly I don't understand why it has to be so expensive. $29.95 plus tax (and shipping)? No calendar cost that much in Borders or B&Noble.. I don't get it.

I love the top of the back cover because of the story about John going over to hug Lindsey and Lindsey not quite knowing what to expect and kind of being hesitant, until he realized it was going to be an embrace. Aww shucks.
