I've JUST moved to Australia from the UK (like, 6 weeks ago) so will be furious if they tour the UK but not here!

They usually do tour Australia tho dont they?

AliceLover 12-19-2008 09:53 PM

They absolutely will, no doubt in my mind. This is gunna be a three year tour. They have shows booked in Italy, im sure they will come to AUS.

A three year greatest hits tour??!! WTF, if that is the case they have sunk lower than than the interminably mercenary Eagles..I guess I will from now on treasure my memories of the fine band that once was and pretend this money grubbing abomination does not exist..

Well, Lindsey, just said that this is what they're doing for this particular leg of the tour. His erstwhile lover did not demur.

So, I would hope if the tour really went on for 3 years that he would have gotten that visit back into the studio that he's so openly wanted and the other legs of the tour would be "Hits, Plus a Couple of New Singles That No One has ever Heard".

Michele

Well, Mick mentioned Australia, albeit in a typically puzzling context. In an interview that snoot posted in the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band thread, Mick said this:

Quote:

And one last question: Fleetwood Mac in 2009?

"We'll probably be out in April," he answers. "I'm sure we'll go to Australia and between me and John, we'll try our best to get the crew and band to the islands. It's long overdue and the Eagles made it here and me and Rick will open up for them."
I can't figure out exactly what he's saying here -- or maybe he's just talking out of his a$$? Imagine Mick doing that. :p
