LB's perfect "in the context of the song-playing"
Rhythm, lead, the most far away from the "ISA"-theme,...
I'll start with Say You Will & Rhiannon :woohoo: |
You Make Loving Fun

Over & Over, Sisters Of The Moon

New one: Hold Me... |
Bleed To Love Her.

I think the production on Hold Me is perfect.

I always liked the ending guitar solo at the end of Book Of Love.

Also, Landslide and Destiny Rules. I love his country leanings. |
It's too hard for me to single out just a few songs which were perfect, I love all his guitar work equally on all albums. But yeah, I love the whole Book of Love ending tbh, I wish it didn't fade out so soon, those backing vocals he throws in at the very end are absolutely fantastic, as is the solo. If only that song were remastered....

..and extended. That is the most cruel fade-out in pop's history. And Fleetwood Mac is master at it, too. So many good songs have out of this world tasteless fadeouts. |
How can you not love fade outs? Do they not just scream "We couldn't think of a way to finish this song!" to you? What's not to love about that? :p

(Sorry to derail a perfectly good thread) |
It's ok. You don't have to worry about me
 ;) |
I just started a pointless fade-out thread. In the lindsey-forum. Because that sucker wants the biggest share of the productioncredits.

Another song: Thrown Down! |
im not sure I get the question, but im guessing his best non-solo guitar playing. In that case my favorite guitar by Lindsey or maybe anyone period is the studio version of Rhiannon. The perfectness of the opening riff has never been properly recaptured live or that little guitar part after the "taken by the wind" part. Short and sweet perfection.

I Don't Want to Know. All of those little guitar parts in the background that build up the song for the solo at the end.
