There have been whole threads on this one song alone so I know there are many fans of it out there.

Book of Love is one of my favourite songs on the album but I always thought a lot of people didn't like it so I'm not surprised to see it getting a lot of votes.

The fact that That's Alright and Straight back are beating out Book of Love is bizarre.

I love it too...

Well they are both bigger more complete and fuller songs. Book of Love , as with all of L's brilliant songs has a killer hook that grabs you from the first note. I love the chorus and ah ah ah ahhhhs but It is a bit of a music box song. By that I mean it sounds unfinished and a bit short.

I especially believe that TA is a very very good solid song from Stevie. It really sets the scene and you are right there at the railway station with her. On the downside I admit it does not fit in that well with the rest of the album. It is very old fashioned and the rest of the songs sound fresh and new esp L's.

I'd pick off almost all of the songs on this album before touching Straigh Back and Book of Love... They rock!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again-

Recall Lindsey's famous quote about having the urge not to want to help Stevie with a song? "Straight Back" is the most damning example of this. 80% of his attention went to "Gypsy", 20% to "That's Alright", and "Straight Back" got nothing.

My favourite songs are by Christine "Only over you" "Wish you were here", and "Hold me" and by Stevie "Gypsy" and "Straight back"

At this stage "Gypsy" for the win.

Damnit Book of Love is nowhere near as far is it should get in this poll. IMHO it's better than Straight Back, That's Alright, Love in Store.

If I had to vote off a Lindsey song it would have to be Can't go Back.

It's hilarious. I feel the exact opposite.

Bummer...I really like Oh Diane (gone now) AND Book of Love, which seems to be on ITS way out too! haha

Can't Go Back sucks wayyyy more than BoL.
Not to mention That's Alright, Straight Back, and even EOTW are much worse.

Like someone has stated, these polls are rigged for Stevie to win [Not to mention I noticed someone posting in the Stevie board to save SB]. Have non-favoritemember people vote and Stevies songs [moins Gypsy] would be in the first 5 off.

The polls aren't rigged - the idea is too vote for your favorite song. If a Stevie song isn't out yet, that's because it's favored by some sort of majority here.

Plus stevie only has 3 songs on this record....There is less room for stinkers if one band member has less songs on an album than the other.

That's Alright is one of my favorite Mac songs - just because you might hate it doesn't mean the polls are rigged. These are all just for fun, don't feel too upset if your favorites leave. These polls would be boring if we all had the same taste.

Hey, take that back. I love both BoL and CGB. (Maybe CGB more).

And as for your favorite song being voted off, get used to it and join the club.

Well, I thought this album might be a bit fairer vote wise, due to the fact that 66% of Stevie's songs suck on it. How I was mistaken. :mad:

Sour grapes? I am so glad that I am able to love and appreciate all 3 members of FM. The hate toward Stevie is nauseating to say the least. If you don't like something that is fine just move then. No need to be ahatin.

In your humble oppinion. :rolleyes: I love all three singers as well, and stevies songs all big whoping 3 of them are all very cool in there own way.:thumbsup:

See, I don't think there is Stevie-hate, I may be dissin, but there's no hate.

Her songs on here [moins Gypsy] are sub-par. Lindsey's are too really [except BoL...THANKS again btw; and EOTW which only rocks Live].Although I do much rather listen to Oh Diane than That's Alright.

Christine's songs are the best on here, no question about it.

People hate on songs all the time, I think each songwriter has strong songs and weak songs. Right now I'm listening to much more Stevie than Linds or Chris, so I don't hate Stevie, but I find the voting to be a bit unfair.

I think that is also what DWSuite is trying to say. Am I right?
