What are the chances Lindsey releases a GOS Live Album?

I think it's unlikely, but how great would it be if Lindsey gave us a live album from the GOS tour. The new songs and varied setlist would make it a worthwhile cd, imo.

cool... I'd rather a DVD though... I want another Soundstage (UTS/GOS)

I want what we got for UTS. And it should be likely. If Warner really does like this album more than it liked UTS, maybe we will get it. They know it won't sell a lot, but it can do as well as Bass Hall did. I think.

Well, there WAS a sign up on the doors in Cleveland that there was filming going on, plus, there was the camera guy who filmed me/David/Pattie with Lindsey and the band before that show. I'm not sure if that was for YouTube or if they were filming the show for release...but I hope it's the latter.

Lindsey's facial expressions for GOS (the song) are different than they are for any other number he performs. His features transform. It's almost like watching Jim Carrey, working with a character. We need a dvd just for the GOS reason alone.

In my opinion, the audio/visual on the Bass Hall Live performance is disappointing. Lindsey + Soundstage = a/v perfection.

IMO the pull of the Keswick show is good enough (save for that one part where the PA blew out).

I would love getting a pro quality live audio from the GOS Tour.
Even if the cost of CD manufacturing or distribution is too high to warrant a release, let it be available for digital download at the very least.

I never did get that chance. I have too much going on.
Now I'm off to Carmel for a wee bit of RnR.
What a gorgeous city and it has got to be the most dog friendly city in the world. I love it. It's my favorite (local) getaway.

So much for your promises...then again, I never did receive that bedtime story either. ;)

Seriously, I thought your friend was to hook you up @ Royce.
Hopefully, Lindsey will keep promise of another SoCal show...surely, you will attend then, yes? :xoxo:

I've just been listening to the torrent for the Keswick Theater and now I have to say: Lindsey please release a live cd of this tour! The sound is great and the performances are right on. He plays Trouble and Go Insane a lot closer to the original versions instead of the acoustic ones from the past tours. Please bring on another live album!

Denver is another goodie... have you listened?

DENVER THREAD

Dan B. 10-21-2008 06:20 PM

Nope, can't say I have. It's as good as Keswick?

Now you know just how to get your bedtime story from me, should you need.

Seriously, he was. But the concert fell on a Sunday and I could not attend. Who knows if he comes around again as I'm getting super booked for the end of year already, and will be heading to Goldeneye/Jamaica in December. You're not going to like this, but attending a Lindsey concert these days is not a priority for me, even with free hook ups.

Nothing quite compares to a jerseyboy recording, but give listen...I think you will like.

Would be nice, but considering Lindsey ignored 3 of the 4 best songs on GOS (Wait For You, Twist Of Fate, and Bel Air Rain) for this tour, it wouldn't be that much different than last time around. I would have to pass.

I have a laptop and an iPhone. I am virtually always next to you.
Turn that frown upside down.

He would never do Wait for you live without the king of the shuffle on drums. That was clear for me before he started the tour. RPTF would have fit perfectly though. And Bel Air Rain was rehearsed, but they couldn't figure it out soon enough in rehearsal. "so I dropped it". (source: the man himself, Northampton, 10/14/08.)

Oh, that's very interesting. Too bad this tour doesn't have segments like UTS did. Then, the songs they were thinking of the first time around would make it in the second.
