How's she spending her European Vacation
Stevie has been earily absolutely silent since her last concert. She said she was going to France for three months, and while Lindsey and Mick have been making rumblings, Stevie has fallen off the face of the earth. And it's not like she has nothing out to promote. Soundstage comes out in a month and she is nowhere to be found. Not even some french interview. So I'm very hopeful that this is a good sign. I hope she is being very productive up in the France wilderness or whatever.
So what do we all think she's doing. Working on songs, finishing up this movie of hers, or just taking a 3 month long nap  |
I would like to think she is "writing like mad" to create the Rhiannon script and some new kick a$$ rock songs or more mystical songs to go with the Rhiannon project. I know there are the "Rhiannon songs" but would love to hear some brand new material.
I would even go for some rock with a bit of blues thrown in there for good measure. I can just see Stevie walking around a grand beautiful house speaking French. (wow, what a beautiful way to take a much deserved vacation from all of that touring). |

Oh, she's in Europe :) I hope she has a great time here in Europe! I hope she's doing well :)
|
I hope she's NOT taking jaunts into Paris, spending excessive francs on fabulous things that are fur-lined or jewel-encrusted, from shops that allow entry only to the moneyed. I hope she's NOT eating the delicious food that makes animal rights activists seethe. I hope she's NOT making the wives of handsome and powerful men angry with her natural youthful effervescence while attending the odd salon...
..yeah right. |
Overseas
to add on to Dashing Dan's post, she is Not with her boyfriend strolling at twilight, Not in his arms all over him at the Louvre, Not staying out extra late, oh well to be young and free and able to really take a vacation!!
|
I guess I just dont care what she does in her private life.:sorry: It's really none of my business.

I dont either. All I asked is if we think she's working on stuff. |
Yo Hawkeye,
I hope she's able to walk around freely in Europe and take in the sights that she says she missed during her early tours. Maybe she'll be able to talk to people that don't know who she is and just be herself. We know she's writing. Have journal, will travel. Hopefully she can walk along the Seine in the cool of the evening, tracking a ghost through the fog, somewhere-- or maybe she'll be able to shop unobtrusively on the Champs-Elysées; maybe Stevie will pay her respects at The Louvre--and hopefully sit and have a coffee or beverage at a spot like this where no one will pay any attention to her: http://cache.virtualtourist.com/1245...fee_anyone.jpg As for us, the few she's left behind? She says: "I can turn all your music on I can make you feel alive I am gone but I'm never gone from you" Can you guess the album and the song? |
It is
Nothing Ever Changes from The Wild Heart....LOVE IT!!
I hope she is writing some kick ass songs...for her next solo album. I dont think she should give them to FM unless someone else produces!! |
It is a great song. Well done John. I think you are a true Wild Heart! :)

Doing what she likes to do best when she has some free time. Writing some new songs. I'm sure she can find the right atmosphere in France to inspire her. BRING. IT. ON. BABY!!!
|
I heard that she was in England, or maybe I just heard wrong? But where ever she's at, I'll bet she's working on new songs for the upcoming Fleetwood Mac CD! :blob1:

I think she may be working on that Hurricane Katrina song we've been hearing about. She really didn't have time last year to go out and find the right producer for it, so maybe that's what she's working on now since she has the time to do it. I would love it if she released it as a digital single on iTunes, like Imogen Heap did with Not Now But Soon.

I had heard that Stevie's IBS was making lengthy travel more problematic for her. Anyone else know anything about this? |

I understand her doctors have put her on a high fiber diet to help combat the syndrome. |
I though at the boston show she was going to france for a few months but i am probably wrong..lol knowing her she is probably spending sometime in different parts of europe as well I wish a great relaxing vacation and I am sure she is writing songs there as well but she definelty needs a much needed vacation. I am sure fleetwood mac tour will be almost a year or so like the last tour. I hope she will do and lindsey will do alot more songs that haven't been done at all or in a very long time she does need to bring Sisters Of The Moon to the plate we all hope even if she does an acoustic version of the song would be happy with me.
Peace, Steve:blob2: |
