Slip your hand inside of my glove.
I always thought it was a bit odd to hear a man say those words.

You guys have dirty minds, i never saw the sexual innuendo of it. I always took it as when men wore gloves while dancing and that the women would slip her hand inside of the man's gloved hand. just my take. lovely song by the way. Then again she does say there's not stop for you to dance to, so yeah i get it now. blushes

Lindsey can occasionally get gender-bendy with his vocals too. :D

I personally always found it weird to hear Lindsey singing along on the chorus of "Everybody Finds Out".

And "get away" somehow did not just mean "any time he can get away," it was more like, "get away, get out of my face". Maybe Lindsey was in a threesome with Stevie and Bill! I loved him jumping in on that song and on Thrown Down. Michele |
^^
I always liked it too, it gave it a certain edge to have the male voice in it. Two people singing it really confirmed that "everybody finds out" and it's not a secret. I hadn't considered the different interpretation of the lyrics though... An interesting comment! :) |
