Anaheim, CA presale 7/10
10 AM Pacific Time:
$35-50 General Public sale: 7/12/08 at noon PDT http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/09...1&minorcatid=1 |
Oh cool. That will be the third show I'll be going to. Thanks for the heads up!
|
I'm sure most of you have been checking LB's site but there has been a date change for tickets going onsale for Anaheim. It shows 7/26.
Plus, I just wanted to bump this thread so no one missed it.:wavey: |
Yup, and the AMEX presale started today and there is another presale starting tomorrow.
|
I checked just now and an hour ago and Tier 2 is coming up, row F.

Do you think they are saving Tier 1 or have they all gone already?

I don't know how many seats are in Tier 1 but Lindsey couldn't be selling so fast that in 15 minutes the entire front would go - could he? I just don't see it but I guess I hope it's true because it means he's still a draw but at the same time I want those seats :p

So if you ring them you can get tier 1 and once you have them you have the option of getting the VIP lounge if you want to pay more or does that get added on to the price of your ticket? Their site isn't too clear on it but I think they are implying that you pay more for the overall package.
How much was it last time round? |

Anyway, yes, call the box...they will give you the price of the ticket that includes the tier 1 seating and access to the lounge. It is long distance for you...do you want me to call just to get pricing info? |
I called box for you...$65 each. MAKE THE CALL!
|
Thank you so much! With the current dollar rate that's pretty good! Picking up the phone now...
|
"We don't have tickets on sale for her yet, our presale goes on sale tomorrow at 10 0'clock" lol. Well, I'll be ringing them back tomorrow then :p

hey everybody I never recieved my pre-sale password even though I am a part of the All Access e-mail list. If and when anybody gets the password, can they send me a PM ASAP> You guys are the best!! Can't wait to me yall on this tour!
|
Same here. I got last weeks email but I didn't get the one from this week that should have Lindsey on it.
|
I called the box office. After about 20 minutes, I finally got through. You're still going to need the All Access password, which they did NOT send out, apparently.
Michele |
Well?
Michelle-did you get Tier 1 tickets or not?

That sucks. Anybody get the password?
Carol-Lynn |
They don't seem to have sent it. I was on hold for 20 minutes and gave up in the end once I saw here that the password was needed.

So does no one have the password for this one then? Seems weird that they wouldn't send it out but still ask for it.
|
I just rang them and said they didn't send out the password. We're in Tier 1 row B :)
|
Ok, I called and got right through (no hold this time) and when I said Lindsey Buckingham she just said "ok" and I got row D. But I could have gotten better seats, if she had realized they didn't send out a password when I first called.
Michele |
Yeah, I'm now wishing I didn't hang up that first time but I'm still really happy with what I got. Just have to wait for the San Diego packages to become available on Saturday now (and steal my friend's Royce ticket :p )

Use Password: TROUBLE

Grove-Scalping Their Own Tickets Maybe?
Here's something to ponder. Is the Grove scalping their own tickets? Could be.
I noticed this afternoon that one broker, just five short hours after the pre-sale started, has 16 Tier 1, Row B seats out of 30. This is not a venue with season ticket subscriptions so they didn't come from season ticket holders. No one that I know got the password until hours after the presale started ( I got mine about 12:30 p.m. and it says that it was sent until 12:04 p.m.) and the best that we could do was row D after the box office ticket agents allowed us to order tickets without the AllAccess password. One person, Peestie got Row B, but the rest of us got row D-me included. There is something a foul a foot and I'm going to call and see what happened. Carol-Lynn |
Grove
Here's the Down-Low:
Just got off the phone with the Grove's Box Office Manager, Sheila Blomgren. She's blaming it on the marketing department. Frankly, I could care less who is at fault. It's not the why or the how but the what: The what being some Friends of the Grove did not get their password until 12:04:11 p.m. today (two hours after the pre-sale started) and ended up with tickets in the fourth row, while other, perhaps closer Friends (i.e., brokers and/or their minions) not only got their password/tickets in time, but snapped up more than half the second row and are now selling said tickets for $100 over face. What is even more telling is that all Tier 1 tickets have been sold and the general sale isn't being held until Saturday. What's going to happen then? I remember two or three years ago a similar thing happened with U2 and they nullified those sales. Wonder what we can do? Well if you're effected and you care to equalize the playing field then let your voice be heard. If you would like to contact Sheila here is her phone number and e-mail address. She works for Nederlander. Sheila Blomgren Phone: (714) 712-2700 Press # 5 for Administrative Offices; E-mail:[email protected] Carol-Lynn |
I rang them at about 11.30ish (your time) and when asked for the password I just said I hadn't got it this week but I got last weeks newsletter and then her next question was just "OK, what sort of credit card will you be using" so it didn't seem to be much of a problem. I think by that stage they knew that the thing hadn't been sent out and had just started selling them anyway. We're right over to the end of row B. Any later and we would have been row C.
So if they nullify the sales then what does that mean? They refund all the tickets and just start selling them again? Or do they take the tickets off the other people who shouldn't have got them or what? I don't really want them to do anything that'll mean I'll end up losing my seat for a worse one! |
Grove Tickets
I wouldn't worry Peestie about losing anything that you have a right to. As long as you are a Friend of the Grove you should be fine and you might end up with a better seat when things are resolved in a more equitable manner.
I already have three emails (including mine) as documentation that the marketing department did not send out the password in a timely manner, and as a result of their error, Tier 1 tickets were unfairly distributed. If anyone else wants to send me their AllAccess e-mail PM me. I plan to forward all of them to Ms. Blomgren. I even welcome e-mails that were delivered in a timely manner as that would strengthen my case. Carol-Lynn |
hey let me share my story. I called on yesterday i little after the pre-sale started ( I was in U.S. History summer school....we were watching a movie, haha) and I told the lady I never recieved the email, and she said well do I have any of the previous ones. I said yes but I wasn't at home to check, so she just said ok, I can get the tickets for ya. So I told her I wanted two in tier one, she said seats 11-12 in row B were open, I was soo stoked problem is...is that I am only a teen and didn't have my moms credit card number, lol. So when I got home I bought tickets online. I am in tier 2 still pretty good I say, I am soo stoked...anyone else?

The Grove
What time did you call the first time?

Grove
Wow! Never got concert tickets this quick in my life. Two days and they're already in hand. Now I can't switch. Not only are all sales final but the tickets have been cut. Good move Grove. Check. But was it Check-mate? :)Time will tell. At least I bought my tickets through the Grove so I still have a chance at an up-grade. I haven't given up yet.
I called today at the stroke of ten, when the general sale started, just to see if they held any back. It took me twenty minutes to get through, just like Thursday, and they were sold out of Tier 1. Best they could do was Tier 3! I can just imagine the flack they must be getting. Something is rotten in Denmark and Anaheim. Carol-Lynn SoCalGalNow |
