Lindsey's High School Reunion pics

I put in Lindsey's name into Google Images and found some *sorta new* pics from his 40th Anniversary Reunion in Palo Alto at this site

I have no idea how to make thumbnails, so I'm just going to post them.
http://lh4.ggpht.com/fmstapleton/R-c...JPG?imgmax=720 (Nice couple)
http://lh3.ggpht.com/fmstapleton/R-c...JPG?imgmax=720 (they'd look cute together too)
http://lh5.ggpht.com/fmstapleton/R-c...JPG?imgmax=720 (Thrilled.to.be.there.)
http://lh6.ggpht.com/fmstapleton/R-c...JPG?imgmax=640 (Workin' it)
http://lh4.ggpht.com/fmstapleton/R-c...JPG?imgmax=720 ("what choo looking at?")
http://lh5.ggpht.com/fmstapleton/R-c...JPG?imgmax=720 (Yay!!! Kristen!!)

Maybe not the most exciting stuff. But, hey, slow news is better than no news.

Those are great. What a nice find! I guess that swim coach who told Lindsey he was a quitter and wouldn't amount to anything has long since retired, but Lindsey said the last time he saw him, the guy was still bitter. Kristin is toting her Nikon. Must be nice for Lindsey to have his own live-in photographer. Of course, Herbert was live-in too, so . . . Michele

Maybe he was there but refused to consent to a picture. Judgmental, can't-predict-the-future-worth-crap ogre.

Who is Herbert?

Worthington. That photographer who did Tusk, the White album, all the Stevie solo stuff. He lived over Stevie's garage for awhile.

I'm sure the old classmates all thought: "How nice, he brought his daughter!"

TrueFaith77 05-14-2008 08:27 AM

I'm actually impressed that Lindsey went to his High School Reunion.

njova 05-14-2008 09:12 AM

I'm sure kristen probably felt a little uncomfortable around his older classmates.

#1LiddyBuckFan 05-14-2008 10:07 AM

I think Kristen can handle herself. They have been together for over 10 years. She probably suggested he go to the reunion in the first place. ;)

michelej1 05-14-2008 12:24 PM

I remember at Soundstage, Lindsey mentioned that his mother-in-law was in the audience and I found myself thinking his mother-in-law was probably his same age.

Yes, you're probably right #1Liddybuckfan, it seems more likely that Kristen suggested he go to the reunion than that he just thought of it himself. He probably didn't go to his 10th, 20th, 25th, or 30th.

But she wasn't in his class year. So, it wouldn't be her reunion. Michele

ohh Thank you Michelle, was he a senior and she was a junior, or flip flop? sorry if my picture comments were immature, i just realized that they kind of were.

Yeah, but I think the Karen lady and the brunette are super cute for their age. Imagine them at Kristen's age. Lindsey looks great. He looks like he's aging naturally- no nip/tuck, no bad dye job. You have to hand it to him. Most old(er) men, when being photographed in candid shots, look gross. He's still pretty handsome. I mean, look at all the men in these pics, for example. Would you ever fantasize about them? (And don't act like some of you don't about LB...come on!)

Kristen will always have the advantage here because she's 21 years younger. But Lindsey at her age? Yum.;)

Yeah, she was the senior and he was the junior.

Nico, in Anne Heche's book, she said something similar about Lindsey. He was in his forties at the time and older than her, but she told a friend he didn't look old, old, like a wrinkly guy preying on an innocent girl. He still looked good to her -- and why wouldn't he? He was only like 41 then.

Plus, the way she described it, he didn't come on to her like a leche, wasn't prowling for a young woman. He was minding his own business listening to a cassette labeled "Drums" and she started asking him if he was a drummer. He kind of laughed and said not exactly. He didn't tell her he was with Fleetwood Mac and say, "I'm a millionaire, guitar God." He was cool.

My favorite Lindsey period, bar none, is during OotC, which is around the time Ms. Heche got him. So she should feel so lucky, hmph! But, yes, I will say that he looks great for his age. I was reading some comments from a troll on youtube in the "Carrie Underwood/Lindsey Buckingham" performance from the Fashion Rocks event and seriously got a little irked. Even when it's a troll, they still have power with some of the words they use- saying Lindsey looks like he "belongs in a nursing home" and he should "go home to his young wife and grandchildren." I mean, honestly.

I have a very different viewpoint of age than many I encounter. I'm truly floored by older people and the wisdom many of them possess. I don't think I know enough about life until I've heard someone older tell me something they experienced years before the 80s. In other words, aside from everything I adore about Lindsey, his age makes him a lot more attractive to me because he's come a LONG way from what he was. And he's seemingly content, has a beautiful family, and is still out there doing something he believes in and enjoys doing. Something that gives him his own worth. So whatever.

On a light note, nice to see him in one different article of clothing at least.

Was that aimed at Billy Burnette? :distress:

Nope. Don't really follow him enough to care. More aimed at Paul Macca. It's just a shame what he's done to himself.:distress:
